For a taste of authentic Kenyan dishes, Amaica restaurant will get you sorted. It was funtimes and a great culinary experience trying out the flying termites, Swahili foods like biryani and lake side meals like tilapia fish

If you crave or wanna try any authentic Kenyan dishes, this is the place. As a Kenyan, I highly recommend. You won't need to break the bank either.

The ambiance is lovely, surrounded by greenery. Nicely decorated to give a higher-end Kenyan feel. The food is not bad and came quickly. Service was not up to par, especially considering there were only 3 tables occupied in the whole restaurant. We had to keep getting up to look for a waiter.

Yes a Wednesday night, but the food was all precooked leaving it dry or rubbery. The flavours were ok. The waitress nice.
Decor good but no music and no people in such a large venue meant no atmosphere. Disappointed.

I expected more from Amaica unfortunately I was very disappointed. The fish was the worst that have had in Nairobi. Not fresh at all. I can understand why the restaurant was completely empty over lunch hour! We were the only ones in the entire place and yet the service was pathetic!

REALLY SLOW!!!! it took a very long time just to get our water. The food took an hour to come out and then half of it was cold. So while they waited for some things to be done at the other stuff got cold. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant. So there were no excuses. We had 6 hungry kids so it was really annoying. Food was Really good and atmosphere was awesome. Very cool decor, furniture and setting.

Don't be put off by the stark decor..or the crappy menu boards outside the food will speak for itself! Service excellent and prices more than reasonable. Samosas were fabulous and all our meals were fresh, well cooked and presented beautifully. Well done! (Take note about your outside menu boards and you will be a great success)!
