Loved everything about the place. The food, the ambience especially at night and the knowledge of the menu by the waiter. It was fab!! And it being my birthday,, you guys really sang and surprised me well. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Ambience is great.. Food quality is declining.. Chicken bone dry.. Old bread (where you got freshly baked a year ago). Great desserts though

This is a nice placequite romantic and the dish was delicious. I tried the pork chops and they are finger licking good. It was a bit chilly and the management warmed up the place with some fire. Though I hope they would have kept the fire burning the whole time. Generally though, awesome place.

This is the best restaurant ive been to. The food is topnotch and scrumptious. The service given is a 5-star kind of rating. Excellent hosts and hostesses. The ambience is perfect for a dinner date whether romantic or not.

Wow! The ambience and the setup is really amazing! I like how the outdoor setup and seating plan. It's a very cosy and romantic place. The general neighborhood is quiet. Parking space is also available. The waiters are really friendly and professional. The cutlery is also done really well; the staff is dedicated to ensure so. Friendly watchman as well! I recommend their barbeque chicken wings starter any day! You will not be disappointed. However, I had the grilled chicken breast and it was a bit dry. I really didn't expect this considering the good starter course. I give it a 4 because of the chicken but otherwise, very good job!

Having eaten there previously, I was expecting far better service than I received. We were greeted at the door, taken to our seats and handed menus, so far so good. We then didn't see our waitress for the next 15 minutes.
If it was busy it would be understandable, but there were only 2 or 3 other tables occupied, about 8 people in the restaurant in total. We finally found a different waitress and placed our order, for both food and drink, since we had had plenty of time to browse the menu by then.
It took another 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive (one of two drinks to choose from on the set menu). Another 40 minutes pass before the "amuse bouche" is delivered (toast with chopped tomato on it) and then a couple of minutes later the starters.
The mains were served reasonably promptly after the starters were finished, but once we had finished the main course, again there were no waiters or waitresses to be found. At this stage we gave up, went to the bar/reception and asked for our desserts to be packed up for us to take home.

This is a very wonderful location for a quiet outing on a site matched by its gardensque feel and 'untamed' look. Staff are super-friendly. Menu offers wide variety which is then followed by large serving.

Lovely place for a romantic meal. Whether lunch or dinner, there's great food, extent ambience. You can sit in the cosy inside or airy outdoors. They offer two food menus, one for fast choices and foods from the other menu take a bit of time to get ready. Great selection of sweet desserts and coffee. Alcoholic drinks also available. The ambience is well worth the price.

This is my go-to place when I'm looking for the quite within the city with an amazing atmosphere. Their decor and service are a favourite of mine and their food always leaves you wanting for more! A must visit place, not once or twice but over and over. It never gets old!

A little hidden secret in central Nairobi. Gorgeous garden setting, quiet despite being in the middle of town. Great food options, with good size servings and delicious fish. The desserts are the best bit tho! So make sure you have room. The service can be a little slow but worth the wait.

The food, service, ambience and music were all excellent. My fiancee and I chose here for our last dinner in Nairobi and we are so glad we did. Samosas, Tortellini and the prawn salad were all delicious. The passionfruit juice was super yummy too! Thanks for an amazing meal!

Excellent menu, changed regularly to accommodate seasonal dishes. Very attentive staff, knowledgeable and friendly. Very pleasant atmosphere outdoor, both festive and intimate.

I see this place and can see the work of Pinterest sadly I can't execute the same..It's so lovely in the evening good for something intimate a small group maybeFood is delicious and filling. Desserts are equally yummy.Got lost a few times getting here though

Thyme offers well-prepared and beautifully presented dishes from around the world. Intimate dining in a leafy, secluded area of Westlands where good food and drinks can be enjoyed in a tranquil setting.
