閑静な路地に佇む、全七室の大人の隠れ家的ホテル。一階にはバーカウンターもあり、利き酒師の資格を持つスタッフと相談しながら、京都の様々な日本酒を楽しむことができる。部屋は非常に広く、バスルームやトイレも広々としている。アメニティーも充実しており、脱いだ衣類をいれておくおしゃれな脱衣籠も用意されており、細かなところにまで気遣いが行き届いている。ミニバーの中にストックされているドリンク類にもこだわりが感じられ、京都産のワイン、京都産の地ビール、京都産の日本酒に京都産の柚子サイダーなどなど。朝食は部屋でいただくこともできるので、朝ドラを見ながら食事をすることができた。スタッフは礼儀正しく親切で、プロ意識の高さを感じた。

京都観光の初心者ではないので、たまには京都駅近辺ではなく、もっとゆっくりできる所に泊まりたいと思いここを選びました。早めに予約したのでお手頃な値段で泊まることができ、またホテルチェーンに泊まった時に感じられなかったおもてなしも存分に楽しめました。ハード面ではホテルの内装や部屋の備品はもちろん、ソフト面でもこちらからのリクエストに対してスタッフが一つひとつ丁寧に回答し、また流暢な英語で外国人客をもてなすこともできるので、これこそ”ザ・おもてなし”と感心しました。一回泊まっただけで、本当にホテルのコンセプト通りに、京都の我が家にしたい位惚れました。また京都にいく時、是非お世話になりたい素敵なブティックホテルです。
You can enjoy Japanese style hospitality at Villa Aneyakoji and don't have to worry that you don't speak Japanese. I've been to Kyoto many times and used to choose those hotels near to Kyoto station, which are easier to access to many sightseeing spots. However it really made me tired to rush to so many places and couldn't get a good sleep after coming back to those "clean and neat" and small rooms. But this time I stayed at Villa Aneyakoji, I found a really cozy place I want to stay at Kyoto. This boutique hotel provides a high quality service not only in their guestrooms(queen-sized bed for each guest, it's kind of impossible in Japan at this room rate), but also their great service. It's really comfortable to talk to their staff and ask them where to visit or which restaurant should I go to enjoy these wonderful things only Kyoto people know. I really want to make this place as my home in Kyoto, and I'll definitely to stay there again when I have a chance to visit this beautiful city.response / report this review -

こちらは完成間近ということもあって、とても綺麗なホテルです。場所柄ホテルがある所ではないのですが、それが一層、このホテルを引き立てています。注意して探さないと見逃してしまう、そんなホテルです。小さなホテルですが、その分落ち着いた時を過ごす事が出来ます。最上階のみ専用フロアとなっています。その割にはリーズナブルな価格で、ワンランク上の居住性を満喫できます。最上階は専用テラスもあります。ルームキーと一緒にエレベータキーを受け取り、それをエレベータに挿すと、最上階の専用フロアに止まります。特別な時を過ごされる方にお勧めします（2013年11月記）。
