  繁華街の中にも東横インはありますが、こちらはほんの少し繁華街から離れているので静かに過ごせました。 ロビーはあまり広くなく、朝食のスペースと兼ねていて、朝は混みます。

  The usual comprehensive offerings of Toyoko Inn chain of hotels. The bonus is the friendliness and helpfulness of the manager, Yuko and her staff. The manager was quick to draw our attention to the Kumamoto Drunken Horse festival on 9 Oct right in front of the hotel. It was a 4-hour parade with ceremonial drums and bells. She was also responsive in making available the English newspaper, Mainichi Weekly and recommendations on onsen in Amakusa (Ryugu), Kikuchi, Miyabaru (Chomeikan), Yamaga (Sakurayu) and Hirayama (Fugetsu) that we should visit. We felt at home in her hotel and extended our stay by one week. Awesome!

  サービスも立地がいい。朝食も美味しく，コーヒーもおいしい。駐車数が少ないので，ちょっと離れた立体パーキングを利用した。朝食スペースがもっと広いといいが，立地と値段考えると仕方ない。コストパフォーマンス重視。

  普通に東横イン。熊本交通センターまで3分くらいなので、熊本空港からの早朝便での出発も安心でした。コンビニもお食事処（飲み屋が多いけど）も周辺にまずまずあって便利です。

  受付の方の対応もよく、気持ちよく過ごすことができた。アーケードも近く、観光の立地も良い。朝食付きでこの価格、最高です。

  ベッドが広く快適でした。
  下通のそばですが、近すぎないので、周りがうるさいということもありませんでした。
  浴室の鏡が曇っていたのがマイナスですが、その他は概ね満足しました。

  熊本交通センターに近くて便利。
  震災の影響でしばらくは工事中の部分があり、窓を開けても工事用のシートしか見えない場合があります。
  ホテル自体は快適です。

  Good water pressure. Lots of Hot water. Good easy Wifi access. Under 5,000 yen a night for a single. Complimentary breakfast 7:00-9:30.
  Nothing fancy but it has everything I needed.
