I stayed at the Jimbocho Sakura Hotel for 3 weeks. It was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in Japan. Always had a fresh yukata on my bed, my room was comfortable and the air conditioner worked wonders after coming in from the summer heat. The bathrooms/shower space was always clean. Overall I had a great experience at this hotel.
I loved my stay at the Sakura Hotel Jimbocho, the receptionists are smiling, pleasant and attentive, the decor with all these flags and all these photos illustrate a healthy, international and friendly, I met Lithuanians, passionate French by Japan like me, a Belgian and an Egyptian, these people have become my friends. The food offered is very good, diverse and reasonably priced. I particularly liked the hot chocolate, I have also taken several times. The rooms, although some are small, are comfortable, very well maintained and provide Yukatas allowing us a more immersive stay. Geographically, the hotel is located in a quiet little street that allows us to relax out of the noise of the city. At the entrance, we can see plenty of books and maps showing us activities and ideas of places to visit in Tokyo. This stay at Sakura Hotel Jimbocho has helped to strengthen my interest in Japan, which is my favorite country and if I have the opportunity, I will return.
Friendly staff, great food and cheap. There is some events every month so we can get new friends and have good time in there.
Great options for eat and drink. Good prices too. I love the morning soup there!!!
Went there with my college. Great stay. Amazing food for a decent price. Conveniently close to metro and store!
A very comfortable and conveniently located hotel (literally steps away from Jimbocho station)! Reasonable prices and immaculately clean. Extremely friendly staff, helpful in providing directions and information for travel around Tokyo and Japan. They frequently organize activities and events for guests to join. The cafe offers excellent food choices with free-flow drinks and an outdoor patio to enjoy the sunshine/cool weather!
Great place for the value,
The staff is very friendly and their best interest is to take care of you.
There is a fun cafe open 24/7 in the lobby, with free wifi in the lobby.
The beds are comfy, and the pillows are great.
My only con is that you can't get free wifi In the rooms, it's on the pricier side for a hostel, but not bad compared to others in Tokyo
Very nice and recommended
I stayed in the dormitory for a whole week, meeting with lots of different people, and we even grabbed beers at the relaxed common area, that was a funny experience that I didnt expect. Everyone is so nice including staff who work there. If you wanna experience something more than just a trip, you should stay in Sakura Hotel Jimbocho, probably will be your best experience ever!
Great place for the price. If you're hoping for fancy uh, no. If you're hoping for a good, clean place pretty close to neat stuff, then this is a pretty good choice. The breakfast was pretty basic, but I was just kinda getting used to the time zone so I wasn't eating too much anyway. Their tea selection was also pretty good, something I really liked.
Loved this place great customer service. Beds were made and rooms were cleaned every day! Very simple basic breakfast just toast and jam but the food is so cheap you can just order something else for a small extra fee.
