  ここでも角大師のお札が手に入ります。明智光秀一族の墓所があります。

  紅葉が見事のひと言。琵琶湖の眺望も最高。琵琶湖は天気や気温によって色が違う。琵琶湖と見事なモミジと歴史的建造物をいっぺんに眼前に…。いつ行っても人出は少なく、無料。

  紅葉のライトアップが凄く綺麗で良い。また、琵琶湖も一望出来る。駐車場も無料で比較的に広いから嬉しいね。

  大津市〔西教寺〕に芭蕉句碑が建っている。
  　月さひよ明智か妻のはなしせむ　
  この句の説明碑が〔明智が妻〕という表題で横にある。平成５年（１９９３）に建てられた比較的新しい碑。沢庵和尚の漢詩の碑もある。

  Great place for no entrance fee and free parking! Yet, historically very important. There is a grave of Akechi Mitsuhide's family.
