Clean, quiet and right at the railway station. This is a great hotel for both the casual traveller visiting Kyoto or the business traveller working in the area. It has excellent climate control in the guest rooms and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. One oddity to get used to is the bathroom placement in some of the guest rooms. Because some rooms are quite narrow, the have placed the toilet and shower/tub against the windows on the outer wall.

Very nice hotel. Room is larger than the most of other business hotels here with fair price. You can lay down in the bathtub. Also can get very relaxing massage while other hotels here don't have the massage service. But it's not quite enough because it's too close to the JR railway. You have to close the windows while sleeping.

Well presented, good service, good value for money. 20-30 minutes from Kyoto but well positioned near shops and restaurants. Staff dont speak much english.
