Nice and comfortable and value for money. Good location in a lovely city. Walking distance from some of the most charming bars I have visited. Hostel staff will provide recommendations.

Nice place, with good facilities. Free coffee and tea in the common room. Witch could easily save you ¥1600 if you like coffee like me :)

I've stayed and lived in many hostels over the years and this is by far the nicest I've ever visited. It's impeccably clean, the staff are incredible, and the room was extremely comfortable. The location is also quite convenient, just a couple blocks from the old town in Takayama. The staff have a map with excellent recommendations for nearby stuff, but be sure to ask for the parking map if you have a car as the lot across the street does not have a daily maximum and you can end up paying a lot more than other nearby lots. Definitely recommended!

A brilliant hostel, it feels more like a hotel with extra conveniences such as a spotless kitchen! The staff are so willing and happy to help. I've stayed twice now, and been impressed both times.
