The staff were helpful helping this English speaker, help with logistics getting to the bonsai museum in the suburb of Omiyia, best way to get to the Sumo champion event. Etc. WI fi was great here & at all other hotels on three of the other islands I visited. Business people working here appeared to be executives.

Another normal business hotel in Japan with free wifi, tv (only japanese channel), a fridge (but no bottle of water in).
However, the room i stayed in was quiet spacious and the bathtub was huge based on the japanese standard

Hotel faces the beautiful Ueno Park and provides wonderful venue for stroll or run (it also has the finest museums and art galleries in Japan), but many night clubs and restaurants surround it giving out plenty of noise until the wee hours. Wifi available but reception very very weak unless you use a cable directly. Temperature in room is hard to regulate and is always too hot. All these despite the spacious rooms, cleanliness, and a nice bathroom (for twin rooms) where the bath and toilet are separated.

Front desk requires room card key to be returned too when going out of hotel, first night out and they lost our room card key. Kept insisting I never gave them and wouldn't give us a new one! How stupid they thought of me, duh-we kept it until the day of checking out. Really BAD customer service! And that was twice we stayed there!!!
