Staff is helpful and polite. The outdoor hot spring is at uphill that you need to take the cable car, its a very nice experience. Nice hot spring and good view. Fruitful dinner and breakfast.

We only came for the hotsprings and didn't stay or eat here, but the baths were some of the finest I've ever been to in Japan (and I've been to plenty) The view from the bath is fantastic and next to the baths was a beautiful thatched roof tea house that you can relax in. On the balcony around the tea house you can take in the view more and sit at the heated foot bath while having some serve-yourself tea. Though the indoor baths weren't the most lavish I've experienced and it was a bit pricey at 1200yen, the stone-lined outdoor baths, the view, and the tea house were totally worth it (note: I think for non-guests you can only use the baths during the day, not in the evening)

Service is good, charge is acceptable. Close to the Kazura bridge. The 30 mins free night tour is a bit rush but no complain. Cable car service to hot spring till 23:00 is better than others.

It's onsen are great. There are two onsen area, one just next to guest room on 3rd floor; another one is open air onsen located at the up hill that you have to take lift to there. Open air onsen with very beautiful mountain and maple leave veiw, the best veiw is located at the foot bath. Dinner and breakfast here also great. The hotel provide free night tour to see the vine brigade, Biwa waterfall and stary night.
