Located right facing the Shirahama Kaigan beach, all its rooms have a great view of the sea. You may go surfing or BBQ with a walk less than 10 minutes from the hotel. It also provide a great Onsen spa. Dinner is really good but breakfast is awkward.

Beautiful Japanese style room, comfortable with the usual amenities. Would have be nice to have more lamps/reading lighting available rather than just the top overhead room light. The seasonal outdoor pool is fantastic for small children and is surrounded by plenty of loungers and chairs to relax in. A short walk across the road is all that it takes to get to the beach, although it was mystifying why the gate to access this closed an hour before the pool closes, leading to a longer walk round the back of the hotel to return. Breakfast, which was included in our booking, was adequate but not dazzling. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

白浜海岸のすぐそばで季節問わず眺めの良いカジュアルなホテルです
スタッフのサービスも良く気持ち良く過ごせました。
温泉も2種の原泉があり内湯、露天ともに広くて綺麗です。
タオルやアメニティも充実していて便利でした。
館内設備も新しいものはないですが浜帰りのシャワーから洗濯設備まであり下田で必要なレジャー用途に対応している。
プールもありプールサイドからもビーチが見渡せ夏場にはバーベキューなどイベントもあるのかと思います。
いわゆる大衆ホテルのため食事は美味しい方ですが価格からすると普通な印象でした。
チケット制で気になるビュッフェを引き換えるシステムは面白く好きなメニューと交換して食べることができます(泊まったときは揚げたて天ぷら、金目の炙り寿司、鰹のたたき、茶碗蒸しでした)response / report this review -

the parking staff was very helpful , the buffet foods were good and onsen was convenience and clean except the weather was unfriendly and pool water rather cool and beach closed .

Buildings are over 40 years old (it turned out I was here as a little boy), however, well kept. Public areas are filled with beautiful flowers, and fast Wi-Fi connection is available free, but only in the lobby area.
Spa (communal bath) is the big draw here for Japanese. Not too hot, and I enjoyed both the outdoor bath and indoor bubble bath.
The other draw is the food. Dinner is served in a large banquet room, instead of in each guest room (disappointing for me), so ambience is, well, nonexistent. However, the prix fixe course offered a nice variety of fresh seafood, and as a bonus, 3 tickets that allow you to pick additional items from a buffet, could be a side dish or dessert.
All in all, maybe a little pricey, but it depends on how much you appreciate the spa and dinner.response / report this review -

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel. Very little English spoken but the staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and quite large for Japanese rooms. Meals were very good and the staff tried their best to make dining as pleasurable as possible. When we asked for a later dining time we were given a private dining room with our own waitress. We wondered if this was the norm or just for us westerners. We would stay here again.
