Didn't stay there long but the room was immaculate and WiFi was free so it's pretty good.

What's good
Almost on the platform. Has own restaurant. Staff is helpful. Rooms are clean and cosy.
What's not good
Older Infrastructure but well maintained.
What to do
Shinjuku and Shibuya are close. Train line is a stone throw so move around Tokyo at leisure.response / report this review -

Partner and I stayed here for 8 nights in twin bed as other options weren't available at the time of booking. Service is impeccable! Always greeted and seen off when entering and leaving the hotel. Staff were very friendly and polite. Housekeeping of the rooms was great. The room itself was quite comfortable, a bit more spacious than other Japanese hotels I've stayed at. Hotel itself is located less than 5 minutes walk to the JR Otsuka station and is directly opposite a Lawson (convenient store). Excellent location! Would definitely love to stay here again.

Very nice staff, a business hotel really, although as a tourist I felt welcome, the station couldnt be any closer, a real bonus, well placed to explore Tokyo, you can be anywhere in Tokyo very quickly. Hotel set in a quiet residential / business area but not too far from Ikebukuro, one stop - 5 min journey from Otsuka station that the hotel backs onto, Ikebukuro is a lively place and great to explore before you venture further into this amazing and sprawling metropilis, I bounced past the neon lights in Ikebukuro on my first night in Japan and it felt like a movie set!. If you prefer a really busy area then Shibuya or even Shijunku may be better a option for a hotel location, if you want more of the hustle and bustle, but for me the hotel was great, right on the train line, the city and the people are wounderful. Japan is amazing,
I would definaley stay in the hotel again, gladly, wonderful! GO!response / report this review -

Waited in the foyer; the chairs very very comfortable and the atmosphere quiet. The staff were polite and not intrusive.

Stayed here when I was in Japan, staff was friend and was able to speak some english which is good because I don't speak Japanese.
