  平和の鳥居・・・芦ノ湖に建つ朱色の鳥居で箱根の中でも人気スポットのひとつ。訪れた当日も写真撮影のため多くの人が順番に並んでいました。この鳥居には平和と書かれた額が掲げられていて、箱根大神御鎮座1200年と東京オリンピック開催を記念して、1964年(昭和39)に「平和」の扁額が掲げられた。陸側からはちょっと見えないんですけどね。境内には広い駐車場も完備しています。

  Atmospheric old shrine but super crowded on weekends. Recommend walking from town if possible since the line for parking stretched back an awful long way
