Clean and cozy hotel. Located in very convenience place.
Some rooms are quite small but very clean and well function. You can enjoy all day onsen which is very nice. Breakfast is outstanding with variety of food and taste good - worth paying. They also serve very nice mid night ramen for free from 9-11 pm.
This is Dormy Inn chain's upmarket version. It looks better, is more convenient and is more expensive than the ordinary ones. As I like the free noodles from 2100-2300 and hot tubs with better ambience, I do not have much choice!
Perfect. Dormy Inn is a chain of up-scale business hotels and they are fantastic. They offer delightful little sento baths, modern decor, and friendly, well trained staff. All this and yes, tiny rooms. However if you're familiar with Japan travel, tiny rooms are simply part of the deal. And having stayed in my share of tiny Japanese rooms, Dormy Inn's are wonderful. But understand, these are BUSINESS HOTELS, designed to cater to Japanese on business. If you're expecting resort accommodations, large rooms, and concierge services, then open your wallet and find somewhere else.
Has an excellent stay at this inn. The breakfast had a great variety of foods and also the nightly free noodles was excellent after a dip in the natural hot spring. The room is also very modern and very clean and well maintained.
I have stayed in many dormy inn hotels in Japan but this one experience is the worst. The service and the facilities do not worth the high price. Staff are not friendly and don't deserve the 'premium' brand.
Loved the location of the hotel. It was central to the places we wanted to visit. Nipponbashi station was just a 5-8 minute walk away. Kuromon Market was close by, and there were restaurants, izakayas, and convenience stores every corner we turned; they were everywhere! The only con to that was choosing a place to eat 'cause everything looked so good!
The hotel itself was very nice and clean. The rooms were slightly bigger than the average Japanese hotel room (queen size). Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. There was even a shuttle to the nearby train stations when we left
Great bang for buck. The staff is friendly and will go the extra bit they can to help you out. Location is very central, Kuromon market is only 10 mins away and there are lots of eats nearby. The room is sufficient by Japanese standards. There is enough room to place your luggage near your bed and still walk around without trouble. The sliding door that sections off the bed area from the hallway was a nice touch for added sense of privacy. Great and fresh selection of breakfast items, best complimentary breakfast in Japan I've been to so far. And the best thing is the public bath which hits the spot after a long day of sightseeing. Would recommend for sure.
Excellent hotel. Staff were friendly and room service was quick. The hotel had big rooms and comfortable beds. Will definitely come back here again for hotel stays in Japan.
The service is efficient but cold. The rooms are comfortable and the sheets are high quality. The best part about this hotel is the luxurious baths.
