Hotel is located less than 5mins walk from main bus station. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The old town is also within walking distance. The double room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. The Japanese breakfast was delicious. Staffs were polite and very helpful.

It's placed by the station, and that's awesome.
Staff is helpful and facilities are sleek, clean and in nice condition. Breakfast is really nice (we tried the western one).
Bed was very comfortable but they should consider having more standard pillows.response / report this review -

Very good location, close to to the train station and to the main places to see in Takayama like the old city, morning markets and the historical government building (Takayama Jinya). Also many restaurants and coffee options in the neighborhood. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful.

Arrived past midnight and was met with hospitality. Very foreigner friendly. The room was fairly sized for three people, and rather large compared to most Japanese rooms. The breakfast the next morning was a mixture of Western and Japanese style, and was very delicious. The hotel is very close to the station and all the tourist shops and locations. A bit of a walk to the river, but no more than five or ten minutes. Wonderful service. They even allowed us to keep our bags while we walked around the next day, after we checked out of the hotel.

The hotel room is pretty cramped. But the view from 10th floor restaurant is amazing.

Nice room. Everything clean. All required items were available. We didn't use the spa so we can't comment on that. Location is conveniently close to Takayama station.

The location was very convenient to the train and bus station and near the town's best restaurants and attractions. Rooms are small for western (U.S.) taste, but certainly adequate for Japanese standards. The staff was extraordinary helpful and kind.
