I loved it here, great food and lots of it, relaxing hot baths and lovely people. I wish i was there now!

Cool space, not great service, comfy bed/futon, beautiful outdoor onsen, food left a lot to be desired. Very pretty building outside of town. Seemed to not have the greatest English. Got dinner but seemed to be asked to order something and what we ordered (for$50) was some meat. I'm a fairly petite female and I was very hungry so I can only imagine my husband's hunger. We thought it was maybe a fluke. Breakfast also left us quite hungry. This was a first for our meals at ryokan, normally there's plenty of food. The service we got upon arrival and getting to our room (with a newborn) was lackluster, with me hauling our one carryon bag up and down stairs due to incorrect directions/non helpful staff. The baths outside were lovely. The indoor ones not so much. Our room was fairly secluded in front which was nice with the baby except it was right next to the dinning room so busy around baby's bedtime and noisy in the morning. Had high hopes and were a bit disappointed.

A quaint, old ryokan in nearby Nagoya. Very reasonably prices with excellent traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner. Decent selection of onsen within the ryokan

Room is about standard for a ryoken 6 tatami mats, aircon, tv. depending on the type of room you all for you may get better stuff. As it was I got a room with just a private toilet, having to use the shared bath but I knew what I was getting when I booked. Both baths and the outdoor bath are gender seperated. Location is a bit of mix, it is in a beautiful location the is next to no traffic, the sound of the wild can be heard, but there is only one 15minute bus in and out costing 340 yen for a one way trip and is on a 30min cycle.

Superbe ryokan tout proche de Matsumoto: authentique, calme, onsen classique et onsen privé. Restaurant traditionnel et copieux. Personnel prévenant. Une excellente adresse, y compris pour les familles avec des chambres spacieuses!

車で到着すると、すぐに旅館の方が出て来て荷物を運びながら案内してくれた。建物は年期を感じる建物だったが、掃除が行き届いていて心地よかった。造りが珍しく廊下が中庭??に面していて窓がない。趣はあるが、冬の時期は本当に寒い。でも温泉であっったまると気にならない程度だった。(朝食に向かうときと帰るときはすごく寒く感じたかな…。)口コミでサービスマンが若いって書いてあったのは本当だった。みんな優しい印象は受けたから、誰か教育できる人がいると、もっと良くなると思った。夕食はお腹いっぱいになったけど、お品書きみたいのがあると尚良しだったねと主人と話しました。

Muy acogedor, un lugar encantador en la montaña.
El Onsen exterior genial! (Interior no probado), bien separado e indicado.
