It's my favourite city hotel chain in Japan. It didn't disappoint. We stayed 5 nights in a deluxe double. Car parking is paid on arrival and you get allocated a bay number across the road in their car park. The room was well maintained, modern and comfortable.

Breakfast in Richmond Hotels is via the attached restaurant. These restaurants can be variable since they are franchised out. Breakfast wasn't as good as I've had elsewhere in Richmond Hotels. It was fine but not so top notch as one has had at other Richmond's. This is their problem with their business model of franchising out the restaurant. Buffet with western and eastern items. It was fine but quality wasn't as high as some of their other hotels.

Clean room and helpful staff. The hotel is super close to the station making it great for exploring the city and day trips.

The hotel is in a good location, just walking distance to the train station, castle and has many restaurants nearby. The room was clean and a comfortable size, if not a little dated. There was no safe in our room, but it did have a fridge. The breakfast option is extensive but geared towards an eastern pallet although cereal, pastry and toast were also available and good. We left early and missed breakfast on our last day but were given fruit cake from the reception staff when we checked out, which was delicious! The staff were very friendly and helped us with luggage forwarding to our next destination in Kyoto.

Excellent hotel! Confortable bed and pillow. Spacious room with every comfort! Located not to far from the station, close to The castle. The staff is friendly and experienced. The breakfast has a variety of choices, and lots of different coffee. Totally recommended!

Nice hotel, you can pay with credit card which is great in japan the rooms are bigger than the japanese standards, the staff are helpful and the complementary breakfast is quite good. I particularly like their soft towels.

Very nice hotel located just a few blocks from the train station and close to the Matsumoto Castle. Extra clean with very friendly and courteous staff. Small but comfortable rooms with a good bed.

A really nice hotel which would offer ladies special bathing commodities(like spa power or facial cleanser). The room is really big with a cheap price(compare with the price in Nagoya)
