Beautiful, Authentic rock cliff surrounded Bedouin camp WITH Deluxe BATHROOM &TOILET 🤗facilities for a good price!!! Near to Little Petra- I called & they came& picked me up from downtown Wadi Musa when I came in the evening.
A full service kitchen served super-Delicious Arabic dinners, Mansaf, & Mendi -chicken&rice was served with plenty of vegetables, & salads.(vegan arabic dishes available with one day notice as is wine & Arack the jordanian anise flavored liquer ). Shisha was available to those who were interested. Breakfast in the morning was perfect. Scrambled eggs with the traditional pita bread, humus, tomatoes, & zeite&zatar, (olive oil & thyme salt sesame seed mix that is a traditional jordanian breakfast item. ) of course hot sweet black tea &Turkish coffee were flowing freely. Simply Scrumptious!!
The people who ran the place were friendly nice, & English speaking- always a plus! The others in attendence varied from a trekking French group to vacationing -want- to- be vagabond nurses, to hard-core world wanderers- very eclectic & interesting conversations hummed along in several languages.
The dining room, & outdoor pit-dancing area& THE BALCONY VERANDA & the cliff house!!😀😥 made me want to host a convention, a party, or wedding in such a cool diverse environment with so many social spots.
Everyone was professional but personable. The cabin -tents were beautiful!! Like all one's childhood fantasies of Sheherezade realized in a single room. I never wanted to leave. Jordan is THE international vacation spot and here at Mars camp, is its beating heart.response / report this review -
