Bus to Petra. Nice and safe ride.
As we were in low season, we went to yhe office half hour before departure and bought tickets without problems.

Jett has buses going for different locations in Jordan and even outside Jordan. One can check the schedule online for required destination. Buses are very comfortable and service is really good. Jett office is located at 7th Circle in Amman and can be reached easily.

If you want an amazing experience, you should try the Vip buses.

Be careful not to book seats 17+18, they are behind the mini fridge and it's really uncomfortable.

There are a number of places on the web that refer to Jett as the least expensive option to get to Petra from Amman. This is likely true. Unfortunately their service is so poor and unorganized, you likely won't make it on the bus. We booked tickets several weeks in advance online, and was told that we'd receive an email confirmation shortly. We then received another email stating that we needed to book over the phone. I called four times in two weeks, only to be told to call back a few days later. Finally when we arrived in Amman I attempted to call multiple times but the line was busy. Our hotel called for us, and was able to confirm we had a ticket for the following morning. We arrived thirty minutes early only to be told that we had no reservation and that the bus was full. There are many places in Amman including hotels that can arrange a shared bus to Petra for 18JOD. Pay the extra money and skip the hassle and absolutely rude/apathetic attitude of this company and it's employees. This was a real surprise because other than Jett, the service we received everywhere else in Amman was world class. We ended up negotiating a taxi with four people for 60JOD right in front of the Jett station.

I have taken tourists group to Petra and wadi Rum, it was cheap but bus was really second class, no facilities at all, and return trip was quite dangerous, driver was driving very fast and harshly, whole time I was worried to reach home safely, it was terrifying

the bus is ok, the prices are cheap and this is the cheaper way to move in Jordanbut the online service is ABSOLUTELY A NIGHTMAREit's not clear the address of the various stations, it's impossible to book online! They dont reply to the emails! I was planning to go to Dead Sea as their schedule on website said "Daily"..i went to their station and they said simply "we dont goo the Dead Sea today "what service is this?

Bus is not clean, staff super rude. Not comfortable at all. The 2nd class bus is terribly noisy and arrived late. Sure their service went downhill, only positive point is that smoking not allowed on board.

Great cheap way to get to Petra and back for 10 JOD each way. Departs from downtown Amman and drops you right at the Petra historical site. Book in advance.

Stop for amman->petra. Came an hour early to get on the 630 am bus, but wasnt needed. Easily got my ticket when they opened at 6.

JETT offers the only acceptable bus service with its VIP that connect Amman to Aqaba twice daily.

Still, JETT is closing their parking lots causing people to park and block the street citing that some drivers park and leave their car for long times and interfere with their bus parking.

Over the years, JETT has been more and more able to stop people from smoking inside the bus, if with low resolve generally. The normal bus can be smelly, hot, stops for smoking, and wastes many hours before it reaches its destination. Still better than competitors in this low performing -if vital- sector.

We need a new bus company in Jordan.
