Great place for adventure. Camel ride, hiking, climbing. Breathtaking sceneries.

You have to drive through here if you want to get into Wadi Rum. If you only stay one day, you can park here and take a jeep tour. The prices are fix, so you don't need to worry about bargaining. There's also a map with all the places to visit, in English. If you stay longer and have to meet your guide in Wadi Rum Village, you have to pay the entrance fee here or show your Jordan Pass. There's a restaurant and a few shops for souvenirs and drinks.

As a tourist, the staff were quick to help. Spoke some English and was able to deal with my booking quickly.

Really just a selection of shops and a restaurant. Bathrooms were untidy. Staff helpful though. Would benefit by providing information on the geology and history of the place. Or if they do provide it then make it a lot more obvious.

Abdolute must see if visiting Jordan. Stop at the visitor center and pick your tour based on duration. Also, very reasonably priced.

You have to go there to buy the entrance fee. People were really nice. That’s why they get 5*.
I was able to pay in NIS but this was kind of an exception. I would take Jordanien dollars. There are a few souvenir shops and restrooms. Not much apart from that. No one tried to cheat us like I read in some of the other reviews.response / report this review -

مكان رائع ولكن هناك محتالين وغشاشين يدعون انهم دليل سياحي وانصح بالتوجه الى مكاتب مركز الزوار فقط لايجاد دليل سياحي مرخص , الاسعار مبالغ فيها حيث تبدا الاسعار من 68 دينار كأجرة للدليل السياحي المرخص وتشمل الركوب بسيارة دفع رباعي واشادك الى الاماكن السياحية في وادي رم , الغشاشين والمحتالين يقومون بأخذ المبلغ واستخدام سيارة الزائر للتجول في وادي رم , والمحتاليون يقومون ايضا بأرسال الزائر الى محتالين اخرين لهم اماكن استراحة غير مرخصة ويقومون ببيع كأس الشاي الصغير جدا ب دينار واحد للكاسة , النصيحة كالتالي وهي
1- التوجه الى شركات سياحية مرخصة في العاصمة عمان او مدينة العقبة , كل شيء بيكون مرتب وبدون نصب واحتيال
2- في حالة وصول مركز الزوار لوادي رم بالسيارة وبدون اي حجز مسبق , التوجه الى مركز خدمة الزوار وعدم السماح لاي شخص بتوجيهك , خذ الخدمة فقط من مكتب خدمة الزوار لانه مربوط مع الاجهزة الامنية واسعارهم محددة من قبل وزارة السياحة واسماء وكل معلومات الدليل السياحي مسجلة لديهم واي ملاحظة للزائر او مشكلة او اعتداء على الزائر تستطيع الاجهزة الامنية تحديد هوية المرشد السياحي , وزارة السياحة انشأت مراكز للزوار وامكن استراحة وكل مايلزم السائح بطريقة سهلة ومنظمة بطريقة عصرية .response / report this review -

Wadi Rum is a great place, but the visitor center was awful with cheaters at the gate. You have to go to their ticket office inside the town-like area by parking your car in the parking lot to buy the real ticket in the right price. If you pay at the gate, they are deceiving you and the charge depends on the negotiation with them. However, if you use them as guide, they use their big car to go around the Wadi Rum area so you may feel more safe there.

It's a easy drive through but beware if you have not made prior reservation it can get very crowded around you very fast with services providers offering you tours
