One of the best vacation resort in Jordan. Resort had a safe swimming (floating) arrangement in Dead Sea water. Very large fresh water swimming pools are also available. Restaurants offer excellent food with lot of variety. Staff is very courteous. Overall a great experience to stay in Crowne Plaza Resort.

I stood 2 days in this marvellous hotel. All the stuff was friendly and helpful always smiling. The room I stood had an ocean view and was super clean and beautiful. The food was fantastic, everything you can wish for. Beach was clean and they have a special mud which you can use for free and to smoothen your skin. Perfect!

    Lovely room, big comfy bed.
Disappointing we couldn't swim past sunset and the indoor pool was closed for refurbishment apparently. Both the Mexican and burj restaurants in the complex had good food but over-priced. Great spread for breakfast although crazy busy some days.
Lots of flies around the Dead Sea area, although that's not the fault of the hotel, they could possibly do a better job of getting rid of them in the eating areas.

Very bad service. The booking conditions we were proposed were not communicated at the reception which, as a consequence, charged us almost the double. In an empty hotel a late check out ( at 15.00) cannot be charged 35jod, especially when you are traveling with kids!!!! The room at the arrival was not ready and we had to wait one and a half hour to receive the additional bed and the cot bed we requested upon booking. On the positive side: very nice game area indoor and outdoor for kids

Not your usual crowne Dated rooms, below average food and service. Crappy gym. Id not stay here again. The access to Dead Sea is the only good thing about staying here.

I love this place so much. It’s the prefect place for a weekend gateway. The rooms are so clean.
The breakfast buffet is delicious. Love the pools and the pool’s bar. Also they play good music.
    Love their beach too.

A very bad experience. My wife and I booked one night to relax after a hard working week. At first I was surprised by the cleanliness of the room I contacted the customer service to let them know that the room had to be cleaned of dust and dirt. .. I called them to inform them that the air conditioning system does not work . I waited more than an hour and did not attend any one to repair the AC BAD experience with all that the word means

Nice hotel in general. But the room (at least the one we were in!) was not that nice and was too small. There is no free drinks with the dinner. And the kids zone needs better management and better clarification of the conditions. I called twice and was given uncertain information and when i arrived with my kids and it was empty. It should be a free service to those who have booked a room and it should have at least one staff who can observe the kids while they are there.

We stayed here for a weekend. Very relaxing, all the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. Great location, good facilities, fantastic views across the Dead Sea and easy beach access. Food in the buffet restaurant was very high standard, a good mix of local and international dishes with plenty of choice. Room was clean and tidy, very comfortable bed. One star deducted for the following: Facilities are good but most things are starting to look a little worn out and dated; the adults only infinity pool bar seems to be aimed at attracting drunken idiots (hotel security was called at one point late in the afternoon to break up an argument), pool bar DJ music was far too loud, too early in the day and they would not turn it down because "that is what our guests want" (maybe I'm just getting old); room air con was a little noisy and intermittent; room TV too small; mistake on the final bill, it was fixed, but perhaps indicates a lack of attention to detail All these negatives were very minor things, but they become annoying when I think about the price we paid, JD400 for 2 people 2 nights half board.

I paid 50 JD to use their private beach which included towels, water and beach chairs with umbrellas. It also included lunch which was fantastic. I used their changing rooms, lockers and showers. It included use of the swimming pools and spa facilities, the spa costs extra. A very pleasant experience and a wonderful day at the dead sea.

Very family friendly place. Beautiful architecture. Good breakfast buffet. The pools were great and clean. Could do better in terms of room maintenance and TV resolution. Also, the in room dining menu didn't have enough options for me.
All in all we had a very nice stay.

Was an awful experience, I would not recommend at all. Will for sure never go back. We went there 2 weeks ago for a weekend. Most of restaurants would be closed at lunch as it was during Ramadan, therefore not too many customers or not to much willingness to serve food. I felt they had very poor customer service and flexibility. Went there with a 2 years old and we had so many difficulties in finding something good to eat, not to mention that most of the food was junk food. Breakfast was very poor in quality. Pools not very clean and some were closed.
    Definitely not recommendable.

The Crown Plaza is first class all the way. the rooms were gorgeous and clean. The service here is TOP NOTCH! My advice to all travelers is to skip Israel and the snobs and stay here- you will not regret it. Jordanians know how to treat their guests. The food, the wine, the people- all seriously top notch! thanks!

My friend Jill and are staying here tonight and so far we have been more than pleased. It sits right on the Dead Sea, provides towels, chairs, and a private beach area with a mud bath. We love how convenient it was to get to the Dead Sea. The pools are amazing, we spent the afternoon there and the poolside service was great. The food tastes good. The beds are soft, the shower has high pressure, the ac works, the wifi works great and is high speed. The mini bar in the rooms is free. I love it so far!

    This place is huge.
The location is great and stuff is lovely.
The biggest challenge was walking around the territory.
Another not really good things that i saw happening was the fact that at the entrance they check your bags and if you have some drink with you(in my case I ad wine for intercultural evening we had at the project) you either pay for taking it inside or you leave it.
Other than that, everything is lovely.

There are swimming pools outside in the centre of the hotel, inside the spa with Jacuzzis, and there's the dead Sea right at the bottom of the hotel with a nice beech. The rooms are very clean and tidy, with sturdily constructed furniture and facilities, the mini bar is free, but they just fill the bar with drinks. The TV doesn't have many English speaking channels, the staff are all very friendly and have great etiquette and presentation. There's a gym there to which has a fine range of exercise equipment. Very good hotel, not the best, but very good all-round and brilliant facilities available

One of the best hotels in the dead sea, and certainly a place I would be coming back to after celebrating a birthday there over a weekend with friends.

The hotel has luxury spaces, various restaurants and bars, direct access to the beach, clean and good sized rooms in separate building enabling it to offer most rooms with sea view, good prices and nice treatment of their loyalty program members (free to join online and recommended to do so).

We had breakfast in the hotel, proper intercontinental breakfast with some fresh local offerings, good service and good food, even decent coffee unlike most breakfast buffets.

The hotel also has a spa and gym and a couple of gift shops, and is close to the only shopping mall in the area (Samara Mall).

Overall, I would highly recommend it when visiting the dead sea, go to the lower level infinity pool in the evening which would remain open until after 9 PM so you can catch the sunset over the sea while having a cool beer on the edge of this infinity pool!
