Great experience with Ayesh and his family. His brother Eid was our guide and we had a great private tour with a cooked lunch in a lovely spot. There was a lot of opportunity to stop and walk around Wadi rum, this is no rushed tour. It was too be able to walk alone down canyons the amongst the amazing rocky mountains.
It was low season so we had the camp to ourselves and it was very peaceful. We also did a camel tour for a few hours, make sure you go for a walk in the afternoon to stretch out afterwards.
The food was all delicious and freshly prepared, just the thing after a long day. The traditional cooking in a pit, zarb, was great to see.
Tents are simple with windows and a bed, all you really need. No wi-fi or mobile signal means you can really disconnect and experience Wadi rum properly.
Communication and organisation was flawless, keep in mind internet is limited out in the desert so you have to wait until evening for replies to your emails.
I don't hesitate to recommend Bedouin Advisor Camp for your Wadi Rum tour, we had an incredible time!
Great place
Our trip was very quickly arranged and customized to our needs. Mohammed drove us around and the kids loved to play with him, they still talk about him a lot! We had a great time together and after sunset had a very good meal at the camp. Very relaxing under the stars. I would highly recommend this tour again,
Ayesh were just wonderful hosts to us. Our Jeep tour inculded 2 other couples and at camp that night there were a few other couples as well, just about a dozen of us.
Come and enjoy Wadi Rum
We spent one magical evening at the Bedouin Advisor Camp when we were visiting our daughter in Jordan. Our guide was Ayesh. He met as upon arrival, and over wonderful sweet tea helped us plan our adventure in Wadi Rum. We had our first experience riding a camel (not to be missed. . . camels are so different to any other animal!), then Ayesh took us to a prime spot to watch the desert sunset. The staff prepared a traditional Bedouin dinner, cooked in the ground, that included chicken and vegetables - delicious! The best part of the trip was the stars at night. We have never seen so many stars in one place, with absolutely no light pollution. Bedouin Advisor Camp has permanent tents for sleeping, but better to sleep outside under the stars. In the morning, we had clean showers and flush toilets. Really the best of all worlds in Wadi Rum at the Bedouin Advisor Camp!
