  Jolanda is the most wonderful host!! She is warm, welcoming and always happy to have a chat. She is also extremely helpful, and can provide advice on the location of facilities (e.g. an ATM that takes MasterCard) in Wadi Musa as well as a reliable taxi driver. The location of the B&B is simply superb. It takes only 10-15 mins to walk to/from the entrance to Petra (although be prepared for a steep uphill on the way back). But the hike is worth it - the sunsets over Wadi Musa and Petra are spectacular to watch from her lovely outdoor area. And the breakfasts Jolanda provided we're the best I have had in Jordan. She even uses some of her own home grown produce. I highly recommend staying at B&B Petra Fig Tree Villa - and if you do, make sure you give Ginger and Pumpkin an extra pat from me

  I stayed 3 nights in the the fig tree villa and enjoyed it to the fullest! Jolanda is a wonderful person and I’m so glad that I met her! The house is very very clean, breakfast is amazing (labbeh, hummus, olives, home made jam, coffee, tea, pita and much more). Jolanda made two times a four course dinner for us and we had interesting conversations! When I came back from Petra she offered me coffee and sweats! Jolanda organised me a Wadi rum tour and the bus! The view from the villa is amazing, beautiful sunset, very quiet and walking distance to the Petra entrance! Thank you for everything jolanda! I would definitely stay again with you!

  Petra Fig Tree Villa is located within walking distance from the visitor center and the bus station. Therefore: No taxi needed to reach your accommodation. From the villa you have a great view over Wadi Musa and from the back terrace privat access to the sunset above the Petra mountains.
  The 3 bedrooms are very nice, superclean and spacious; there is a clean, shared bathroom, a kitchen and a wash machine. At Petra Fig Tree Villa you can recover from a hot day in Petra.
  Jolanda is the perfect host, makes you feel at home right away, knows the hidden trails in Petra and Jordan and provides a chair massage if you challenged your body just a little bit too much. I do highly recommend Petra Fig Tree as your base to visit Jordan.
