  I can't say enough good things about this place. James and Mary and all the staff made us feel right at home. The bay is beautiful and even though our stay was too short we felt recharged. We will be back.

  We had the most wonderful holiday at Wilks Bay! The location is perfect, with sweeping views, warm clear water for snorkeling and a great pool. The accommodations are lovely and comfortable. My husband and I traveled with our 20 month old and Owners Mary and James were so kind with the details of their hospitality: driver waiting for us at the airport, beach toys for our son to play with, sharing their love of Port Antonio, etc. We genuinely relaxed, lounging around the beautiful property and then going off on small adventures that Mary and James helped us arrange. Port Antonio is a beautiful small town in Jamaica with a vibrant history and current culture of music, food and art. Our lovely helper Angela kept us marvelously fed and cared for. We can’t say enough good things about Wilks Bay and our time thereWe had so much fun with you Mary and James! Thank you for your kindness and see you soon!!

  This is an idyllic place in a lovely setting. The staff, especially Verona, our housekeeper/cook, were so friendly and attentive. We planned the menus for our meals with Verona and enjoyed a diverse assortment of local dishes, all of which were delicious. Helped by the supply of local lobsters and fresh fish! If you want to relax, have a quiet vacation and meet interesting people, learn about Jamaica and local history first hand this is the place. If you want a Las Vegas atmosphere, a swim-up bar and an American buffet it is not the place for you. This is a place for people who know value and want to experience a place. The apartments are tastefully decorated, well-equipped and very comfortable. Every unit has a spectacular view of the grounds and the sea as well as the surrounding jungle. We loved it!!

  Loved it!!!!! We were greeted with rum punch by the owners, Mary and James, and the staff upon arrival and were pampered all week. Each unit has a wonderful staff member (shout out to Ann Marie and Stacy!) who were beyond attentive to us - the food was incredible, the service impeccable. The grounds are beautiful and maintained by a terrific staff who made us feel like royalty. We went snorkeling out to the reef, enjoyed exploring the private beach, and reading by the pool. The best vacation we've had! Thanks to all. Can't wait to go back.

  Excellent facilities and perfect hosts, one of the few no hassle, no hustle vacation spots on the island. Nice little bay, with a great beach next door. Make sure to get pastries from Mary's friend and have Jim take you out to his friend's seafood shack just uphill from Port Antonio
