it was amazing! The staff Are very professional and friendly. The scenery is breath taking! Near by attractions, food was good too. Only take away was that WiFi was not as reliable and cable channels were very limited but hey, who needs that when you’re in the middle of paradise?

I have not been there. I only pass by each day to and from work. But from the little I can see, it seems like a nice place.

Had a good time here! Just a few minor things like the WiFi was low in some areas, the cable did not work and the bathroom could have been a little cleaner.

Other than that, when you're having fun in Portland those things are not a huge problem.

Really nice option in Portland, absolutely wonderful breakfast from the country kitchen. Wi-Fi doesn't work in all areas of the property.

Dec 27 till Jan 1, 2017. Loved this place! It feels almost like staying in a tree house. They were going through a transition while we were there, that is why I gave 4 stars, no spa at all but with the surrounding areas to go to and relax like the Blue Lagoon (you can walk in and around the fence for free and you can get beer there also), Boston beach (crazy prices they charge but they have reggae music to dance too, you might even see Lesley neighborhood dancer, I had a blast dancing with him ) , Somerset falls is decently priced and of course a drive through the Blue mountains! The food from the restaurant on the grounds overlooking the bay was the best food I have ever had away from home and some awesome Jamaican coffee. I live in cajun country, we know food. Mark was fun and so sweet and has been there in the restaurant for 15 years. Trish who is taking over the "wellness" center likes to be called Tao and I can't wait to go back to see what she will bring to the table. She is a breath of fresh air. Just her energy alone makes you feel so at home. The rooms are very clean but I have to say the mattresses are very firm. They will even wash your clothes for you for a small fee. This place is perfect if you love to relax and not be surrounded by a bunch of people. They even have a bar to order drinks from. I would rent a car to get around but I seen that if you stand by the road they do have taxi's that pass by often. They also have a strong wifi. I could go on and on but I will leave a few good surprises and I do mean GOOD!

Had a wonderful time at this small, private resort. The lush vegetation overlooking the sea was calming. The staff was nothing short of warm and courteous. The visit to the bar was a bit bitter-sweet as what I initially wanted to order was not in stock. Nevertheless the snapper in coconut sauce served with baked potato was to die for. Lovely ambience, comfortable rooms, overall a good experience.
