Randomly ended up at this location while in port. Nice beach, kind staff and good food. Even had a fun beer chugging contest. Close enough to port to not have to ever be concerned about time but far enough away from the hustle of a port town.

Went there while on our cruise holiday in Oct 2013 with a large group of family/friends, besides us there was only one couple who were down the beach from us. It was one of the best parts of our trip/s. The guy running it was nice and friendly, there was an old man walking along the beach who had just finished spear fishing. My wife bought the fish he caught from him and the kitchen cooked it for her and whoever else wanted fish. Some of the locals came selling fresh fruit and even cut it up for us.

The taxi drivers don't want to take you there or will tell you they don't know where it is because it's so close. That being said the owner did mention something about them putting up the rent trying to force them out to build something there and one of the other reviews mentioned the taxi driver said they had closed. On our first cruise we didn't know about Time N' Place and caught a taxi to a beach. They took us (wife and I) over an hour away, they also want until the taxi has more passengers which is fair enough, but they stopped at a gift shop for about an hour, finally we get to a beach and it was terrible, the only thing good about it is that there was water. They had huge disco speakers on the beach playing really loud music.

We would definately recommend it if it's still going.

wanted to go to Time n place but the taxi driver said it was closed down due to problems. I think he was lying to us so he could take us to another beach where he could get a kickback.

can anyone confirm if Time N place closed down date September 2014?

Time N' Place was by far the best part of our 7 day Royal Caribbean cruse! One day on their secluded white sand beach and the warm crystal clear water created a lifetime of memories. Tony and Harvel treated us like we were family. This hidden gem on the north coast is just AMAZING!
