The customer service is poor. I felt rushed upon docking the houseboat by the hostess. As a local my date and I did not feel welcomed. However one waiter, Kaymar, was outstanding and took that bitter taste out of our mouths. Then when the dinner was served we were even more pleased. An excellent chef! It is a very romantic place set above peaceful blue waters with the occasional sounds of fishes below,not to mention the lovely moonlight. They also have a trap door on the boat where you can pick your fresh lobster for dinner. I highly recommend despite the poor service.

My experience at house boat was incredible - first time in my life I have ever seen a Jello fish up close and personal and that was at the house boat - while having a delicious three course meal - awesome place to be!!

The food was delicious with beautiful over the water sceneries made the experience is truly breathtaking and amazing. It gave a really nice feeling to be surrounded by mangroves and lots of fishes swimming sound in the water. We had to take a little raft to go to the docked boat and the service from start to finish was superb. It’s Definitely not your everyday restaurant because it is quite expensive but if you have a special occasion or just celebrating its worth it.

The food is fantastic!!! I dont usually rave about food but House Boat is a must do in Montego Bay. The menu is diverse and the food is savoury and well prepared. Lovely cozy ambience. I strongly reccommend!

Great concept for a restaurant, great view, great food, the experience was excellent, the atmosphere was splendid, everything was so close to perfection. I recommend this restaurant. I'd also recommend making a reservation for an even better experience.

Amazing restaurant. Everything was just wonderful, from the food to the staff. My waiter 'Dean' was funny and had a great knowledge of the menu. I honestly cannot find a single fault with this place.

It was truly a great experience with a breathtaking view. I'll definitely be back soon.

We ate here in March 2017 while staying at the Secrets St. James right down the street. The experience was lovely! I loved the little "ferry" that took us from the dock to the boat. We were sat on the rooftop and enjoyed the wonderful weather. We came too late to enjoy it, but I would suggest a reservation around 6-6:30 so you can enjoy the sunset. We both very much enjoyed our food. We shared an appetizer, each has a main course (lobster and shrimp pasta for me and lamb for him) and shared a bottle of wine. The total came to $107 US before tax. The menu doesn't list US prices, so luckily we'd figures out before hand that $1,050 is roughly $8.50 US. They are very helpful with figuring this out at the restaurant though. I would definitely recommend and return on another visit.

Last night, we shared a 6 lb lobster!!! It was amazing. Go rain or shine! Cheap drinks, great food, and service. If you're staying at an all inclusive like we did, take this chance to break off one night and go! Your resort will arrange transportation and reservations. 2 appetizers, 6 cocktails, masssive lobster we picked ourselves. $249.
