Good place for take out food
Lousy tasting, poor customer service and expensive, not even close to a Burger King or a Kentucky chicken service.
Foods served there were authentic Jamaican dishes at its best
I will honestly say I'll never return to this restaurant due to the atrocious customer service I experienced earlier. I purchased a serving of cowfoot with bean and a stewed peas. When they came, I opened to inspect and it was noted that the stewed peas had only dumpling (spinners) in it with four pieces of fat so I inquired about it. This rude girl (server) with no manners said I got the serving and proceeded to get her manager. She (the manager (term used loosely)) came out, opened the box and with a fork started going through and counted the pieces. Then to my chagrin she closed the box, went to the register and removed the money for it and handed it to me without a word! Where do you (Woody's) find these people? Is there no professionalism anymore? Is this not taught to the staff and are they not educated on how to conduct themselves in the establishment? With people like this a business will surely go under because no one is willing to go above and beyond for the customers or just use common courtesy. 😡😡😡
Purchased their Pepperpot soup, it was WAYYYY too salty. Hopefully this was just the cook's bad day.
It's a dam shame to poor people the way these ppl share a $300 dlr food ,I buy a food this evening for $300 dlr the server behave as if am begging one an a half spoon of rice then she ask me which part of the chicken I want ,a leg ,a wing or a piece of dry out ribs I said ribs an something she said is one piece of meat for a $300 dlr food now in God's heaven what kind wickedness is this a $300 dlr food you can only choose between a wing a leg or a dry out little piece a ribs ,Monday morning I paid $1,120 dlr for 10.5 lbs of chicken at CB chicken whole chicken so why woody's have to behave in such injustice to us as consumers .
Food has too much garlic, small space, poor customer service
This one of portmore's worst restaurant. The staff members need urgent customer service training and the food seriously needs improvement.
Great
Good place to get early breakfast and late late dinner
Foods of all Variety to suit your needs
Good food.. Plain rice usually a bit hard though.. Otherwise great
Too much pepper put on the food to make up for its lack of taste.
Grate food
A great dining experience, with private dining and good ol Jamaican dishes
