  Large food serving Number system for orders. Taste consistently good I mean, for a local cook shop, one of the best I know. Be prepared to wait during peak hours though

  As a Portmore-native, I have been eating here for all my life. The food is consistently good, no issues with quantity and taste is always a 10.
  
  Parking can be a bit of a challenge during the lunch rush hour, but the service is fast so its not too big a deal. The value for money is also great. Highly recommend. 👍

  This food spot is the best in Portmore if your looking for nice home cooked meal. Candy bowl/Steadman has been around for a long time and with the fast service, reasonable prices and don't forget Steadman's serious sense of humor you'll always keep coming back. The menu is great with food for everyone. From chicken, Curry goat (mutton), brown stew fish, cow foot and oxtail just to name a few (my mouth is watering just thinking), Candy bowl has got you locked. So go on over, take a ticket, listen to really authentic Jamaicans talk and enjoy the environment.

  Without a doubt Candy Bowl is one the best "cook shops" in Portmore. The food is of a very good quality and whilst there is always a crowd Steadman keep the flow of customers moving at a good pace. You will be value for you money here.
