Choose boat ride over rafting, it's much longer journey so you get to view the scenery a little longer. Plus it's cheaper.

Moon San Villa is a decent place to stay if visiting the Blue Lagoon. The roof may have leaked a bit during the rainstorm that blew through and the shower head may have fallen off mid-rinse, but when you are sitting on the balcony looking into the Blue Lagoon, none of that really matters because you are in Jamaica. The driver and house keeper were awesome people too, they prepared authentic dishes for us in the morning!

I can't begin to describe my experience working with the staff at the MOON SAN VILLA. The friendliness and attentiveness the to the needs of myself and guest were much more than expected! I was there in Port Antonio late February, 2016 to do several photo sessions for about 7 days. I wanted a villa because of the more relaxed atmosphere than that of a hotel. I also needed somewhere where I could have an ACTUAL feel for the city etc as I was shooting fashion and definitely did not want the typical tourist environment. MOON SAN was the right choice. After my party and I landed we rented a car and promptly got very lost so we wound up being delayed for about 5 hours. Marley stayed up and cooked the dinner we requested even though we were several hours late!!!
The models and my staff were well taken care of! (Not sure if it is the custom or it was because they were attractive young women :-) something tells me it is the custom of Moon San because even the older women who were there were gracious in all ways!!! Even to me!) Moon San the property had the feeling of one "your family's home", Not fussy, but definitely clean and well cared for. Even with the models having garments strewn everywhere in prepping for shoots that sometime ran late, the rooms were made up and garments were neatly put aside. One complaint though I have a "thing" about mosquitos and everyday someone would open the windows and of course one or two would hang around just to bite ME!!! (I am sure the mosquitos held a personal vendetta against me I am absolutely certain).
I plan to come back to PORT ANTONIO for shoots and possibly family vacation as well and I plan to stay at MOON SAN VILLA.
