Best pastries can find in and around town
Similar to mother's but not as crowded.
Ordered a cake within the time set by the cake decorator. The cake was for my son's first birthday. Captain's totally f*×%ed us. The cake was not ready when they said. They lied about the collection time. The Manager didn't even try to give us a solution. Ended up angry and screaming in a situation that did not need to escalate the way it did. Had to purchase a store bought cake from Champion supermarket, Who's customer service was absolutely amazing. Picture below of a cake we bought in five minutes.
Nice food good service
food tasted horrible! Service was also poor!
Cakes are ok. Food not so good. Customer service needs improvement.
Terrible piece of oily greasy sad chicken. I used to love fried chicken, but this place made me want to never se one again
Really great stuff to buy where not much else is available. I was just a little annoyed when they wouldn't let me buy as much of it as I wanted since I had a lot of people to bring baked goods back to our rental house. The girl limited how many of one thing I could buy. Strange. Hope they didn't throw it out at the end of the day
The food is good. Staff needs more training in proper customer service.
Donuts, breads and great value meals
Good service and the pastries are amazing. Also one of the best breads in town.
I stopped in at Captains Bakery on Monday January 2, 2016 to purchase some pastries. There were 5 customers in line ahead of me awaiting the delivery of their food. When it was my turn to have my order filled, the woman serving hot meals called the trainee who had served the other customers, away from the counter to teach her how to serve hot meals. I was left standing at the counter without anyone to assist me. Frustrated, I returned to the cashier and asked for a refund. She asked why and after I explained the situation, she left her post to go and find someone to assist me. I shop at Captains Bakery regularly and the service is often slow, but this occasion was the worst.
