Pleasant staff, lovely view and great potential, but the owner is vile. He is verbally abusive, liberally using profanities and shouting on the employees. I witnessed this over a two day period. He also has no respect for people paying for the use of the venue. His conduct should be investigated, but I guess money (clean or dirty) talks.

Celebrated a birthday here, everything was spectacular! Geovanie was great and very attentive, I think having any special occasion here is a good idea. Had the BBQ lamb special, I'd go there again just for sum more!

The food tastes as good as it looks! An amazing interfusion of Italian and Jamaican cuisine. The service is first class and the waiters formally trained. A relaxing restaurant where you can feel pampered.

It is set near the sea which is awesome. The atmosphere and layout of the restaurant feels inviting. The host was very nice and the staff very professional. Great tasting food. I will certainly good back.

This restaurant is a prime example of someone with too much money and deciding to open a restaurant! The place is beautiful, well appointed, high-end and gives the impression of a Michelin Star restaurant but that is where it ends! First, it had to be over 90 degrees in there and they didn't turn on the air conditioning until about 9:30 pm. The food is the biggest disappointment! The wine selection for this caliber of restaurant is severely lacking and only one brand of Italian wine that was some cheap (maybe even fake) Chianti Reserve. I started with the Minestrone soup and my wife the bruschetta. The soup was a bowl of tasteless watered down tomato soup with a couple beans and raw carrots. It was beyond the worst minestrone soup I've ever had. The bruschetta was nothing more than a slice of baguette with diced tomatoes, again NO FLAVOR. I pushed the soup aside and the waiter asked what was wrong with it and I hesitated only to have him ask a second time, so I told him. He offered to take it off the bill and I declined saying that it's NOT about the money. I ordered the Margherita pizza with fresh basil and my wife the salmon. The waiter immediately informed me that they don't have any fresh basil and merely add basil seasoning to the sauce. That's ludicrous!! If they can't make a simple Margherita pizza the way it should be made they shouldn't have it on the menu; plus how can I trust them to make anything else!! Besides, $14 USD for a Margherita pizza!!! Really!!! Really!! I opted for no entree so as not to throw good money at paid food. My wife's salmon came out and it was accompanied with sauteed vegetables and potatoes SATURATED in OIL!! The salmon itself was dry, tasteless and very over cooked!!! The potatoes were beyond edible. I told the waiter that he could make it up to me with a good Tiramisu and cappuccino he informed me they were out of Tiramisu so I went with the red velvet cake. The cake was dry and tasteless (bi surprise) but at least the cappuccino was half decent. The waiter could see we were finished but we still waited for and had to request our check. That's when we got the BIG Surprise!! They add an automatic 10% gratuity to the check!!! I asked the waiter about it and asked how much of that 10% he gets, he informed me that they get a BONUS after 3 months!! WHAT? a bonus, you have got to be kidding me!! I demanded to see a manager or the owner and was informed there was no manager on-site (a Saturday night and no manager in the house!!) The waiter informed me that some elderly lady was in-charge. She came over and I again demanded that the 10% be taken off otherwise I was walking out the door!!! She did take it off and when the waiter came back with the corrected check I gave him $2000 JMD cash!!! This restaurant could have some great potential if the owner got off his lazy rich ass, hired a good executive chef and stocked the place with the right wines, food and ingredients!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY or ENERGY and AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Bettino's is a rip-off and an insult to good food, Italian cuisine and the Jamaican people!!! (I gave it 1 star because you can't post ZERO STARS!!)

The food is good. The prices are not cheap but not crazy expensive. But the place is very nice, with the ocean right beside it. We loved it

Nice location
But don’t use your Credit Card here, Wife’s card was compromised here ( how many others) approached the manager at a later date about it, she played ignorant about the word “compromised “

I only did two stars. because I don't know how to do half (I would have given 1 1/2).. The wait was long and the restaurant only had two other tables for service All the staff except for Damion (thank God he was there) were absolutely clueless.. My little daughter had chicken fettuccine Alfredo and asked for it to be taken home (more than half). When we got home apparently they did it over and there was no chicken in it The owner came in with his family, didn't even acknowledge any of his customers and got served immediately. They felt so bad for the awful service, that we weren't even charged for some of the food and beverage It's the first restaurant that I have ever vowed never to return.. Food wasn't bad..
