  Never Stay at this Hotel
  
  The hotel and all facilities lack maintenance.
  The room was old and things (light, aircon) were not working.
  Old infrastructure. All the pool umbrellas broken.
  My partner had to get surgery due to metal sticking out of hallway floor in the hotel.
  Hotel staff was unhelpful, didn't even say sorry and insisted we paid for a 2-day accommodation of which 1 full day was spent at the emergency room.

  Absolutely beautiful hotel. Location is amazing . Staff are friendly. Service excellent. rooms are spacious and clean .other reviews suggest rooms were dated, ours must have been recently renovated

  Wonderful view of the mondello bay. Very nice staff. Excellent breakfast. There is a lovely pool too. Very close to local amenities. Haven't tried the resteraunt yet but it is situated facing the sea so I am sure it will be a wonderful experience.

  This is advertised as a 4 star hotel.
  It's more like a 1 or 2 star.
  As you can see from the pictures.
  It's also advertised as family friendly, non smoking with a private beach!
  It was non of the above.
  We watched various accidents around the pool area, it's incredibly dangerous and literary falling apart.
  My son hurt his foot as all edges of pool and tiles are poking up.
  We had dinner one night at the hotel and my wife spent all night being sick with food poisoning.
  Luckily my son and myself ate different food.
  This would of been hospital for our son.
  My wife reported it to the manager the next day.
  He told her at the time not to worry lots of people (about 20)had called down to reception.
  We saw them hastily change the oils from the kitchen fryers.
  We were supposed to stay there for 2 weeks but decided to leave after one of the night duty managers questioned a friend of ours on the way out and photocopied and checked his I.d with police without even looking or speaking to me.
  I actually got quite annoyed and asked him what the hell he thought he was doing!?
  So open checking out the next day the manager completely denied my wife had said anything about the food poisoning infact he was refusing to speak to her and calling her a lier to my face after I had spent most of the night making sure she did not need the hospital.
  So obviously still charged for the meal,which we had to pay because they were illegally holding our passports.
  We are currently claiming all money back through the bank.
  Avoid this hotel like the zika virus!

  the staff is professional and nice. good location. the whole building needs some restyling. internet wasn't working.
