  Step inside the church of Santa Felicita to see one of the most beautiful paintings in Florence. Jacopo Pontormo's depiction of the Deposition, which hangs in the Capponi Chapel, to the right of the entrance, is a masterpiece of Mannerist art.
  Pontormo also painted the fresco of the Annunciation, which adorns the side wall of the chapel.
  At the time of writing (April, 2017) the chapel is closed for restoration.
