Terrible experience. Would not recommend this to anyone. They were intending not to open the wine we ordered until after we finished our meal. Service was super slow and food was disappointing. Do not go. There are numerous other restaurants where the owner cares about the customer.
Honestly we were planning to go next door but it was too busy so we went here instead. We were not disappointed. The pasta was very tasty and the waiter was nice.
Rick Steves led us wrong big time here. Had the risotto and ravioli of the day. Flavorless. Went elsewhere for food after because of how unsatisfied we were.
I went to Italy for my birthday in November 2016, the Osteria Pepò experience, since then, has lingered in my mind as one of the best restaurants in Firenze. It's homey, the food was awesome and the staff attentive. Keep up the good work!!!
Very friendly service, incredible atmosphere, delicious food.
They had options for my child with what and peanut allergies. I had the Florentine style t-bone streak (my mouth is watering thinking about it).
I highly recommend the stop.
I had nice risotto. Especially I liked its dessert, panna cotta.
We ordered spaghetti and lasagna. Lasagna was great, however the spaghetti was so so.
The ambiance is nice and staff are very polite. They also have an English menu.
Just fabulous. Beautiful run spot with outstanding food and service.
Food was beyond delicious! Great service, beautiful locale, and phenomenal menu. We had at least one item from each section of the menueverything was fantastic. Explosion of flavors. And the winedid not leave a drop! A must stop on your travels, especially if you want to eat like the locals.
Great local experience, but hip. Unique food choices, great atmosphere. Very busy. Reasonably priced, great wine selection. Combo of old meets new. Attentive waiters and owners. One of the best meals we have had in Italy in 3 weeks.
