A little of the main street, this restaurant offers a stunning atmosphere and authentic cuisine. Whilst we had the patio for ourselves (+ 1 guest), the waiter was very thoughtful and made excellent wine recommendations. The ravioli with spinach and saffron were an absolute delight!

We were seated outside on the patio, which was pleasant. We asked if we could just order wine, and the waiter said the tables were reserved for people who wanted to eat. So we ordered some food. There was a woman near us who smoked one cigarette after another which was extremely annoying as the smoke traveled to our table!! The bread that came before the meal was tasteless and stale. My friend ordered the steak with arugula, which was good. I ordered lasagna with meat ragu. What I got was mushy layers of pasta with ground meat on top and sparsely interspersed between the layers of pasta. No flavor whatsoever. I took two bites and left the rest. I told the waiter it was unaccepable and he said no one ever complained about it and everyone eats it and I couldn't get a credit on the bill. However, he did say I could substitute something else, so I got the prosciutto and melon, which was very good. Since I didn't taste any of the other dishes, I can't say if they were good or bad. My advice is DO NOT ORDER THE LASAGNA (unless you like bland food).

Great service and great view from the nice terrace at the back of the restaurant ! The food, and espacially the antipasti and the desserts, were really good, and they also have a good choice of local wines. Would recommand to anyone looking for some typical and affordable meal, a bit apart from the touristic craze.

Tutto buonissimo, in particolare l'antipasto 4 gatti con vari assaggi di pappa al pomodoro, Bruschetta, finocchio al gratin, salumi con la pasta fritta consigliatissima anche la ribollita e i pici cacio e pepe.

Terrible experience and the poorest customer service that I have ever experienced. The waiter and hostess were rude and so unprofessional. Found the place not to be clean. . I had the worst experience in such a beautiful and magical medieval town like San Gimignano, Italy, I would not spend any time in this so called Osteria
