  We tried out this bar because we wanted to try local craft beers. The place itself has a hipsterish/retro vibe - lost of paintings/pictures/furniture which are a reminder of the former regime. The beers we tried were OK but not impressive. Nevertheless, the restaurant seems very popular with locals - we arrived at 8.30 and were only able to find a table upstairs.

  A hidden gem in Rome and a perfect place to hangout, chat, and enjoy a few beers. Open Baladin was my favorite bar in Rome while I lived there and holds a special place in my heart. It has an expansive interior space, starting at the main bar/beer hall and extending into lounge type back rooms in the basement and 2nd floor with couches and comfy chairs. Besides beer, there are a few snacks (I personally recommend the homemade chips with paprika!) The line may be long to get in the door, especially if you are in a large group, but Open Baladin is worth it!

  One of the best places in Rome for craft beers. Add to that, very nice and inventive hamburgers, probably the best I ever had, only a tad expensive. I also like potato chips and fatatone (fried potato cubes) even better, please give up on french fries for once ;) If isn’t obvious, the place can get very crowded at times and the staff can still cope with that pretty well but don’t expect too much. For a more relaxed experience prefer mid week, outside peak hours and the good Stefano will even show a smile!

  Good vibe but loud! The selection of beer is good if your looking for Baladin at least (duh!). The quality of the beer might differ and I did get some less well made pints. All in all interesting place!

  We went looking for a place that was not Italian food. Nearing the end of our vacation here in Italy we had just about as much pasta as we could possibly stand and needed to have some beef for a change. This restaurant delivered in spades. The burgers were delicious in made to order. Deep-fried mash potatoes were fun as an appetizer but very filling

  Great hamburger. The fries are nice, unique would describe them better. Endless selection of home made beer and other beverages.

  This place is amazing. I found it after reading about it in "Italy: Beer Country". The original is up north, but this place holds its own. Fantastic beer selection. Their house beers were great. All different styles. My sister doesn't drink and had their house cola. It was amazing. We were full so we didn't eat a whole meal, but the chips we got were perfectly cooked, lightly dusted with parmesan cheese and had a homemade ketchup/tomato sauce. Any beer lover in Rome needs to come here!

  Full of very good beer, and suitable food. It is a little bit hidden now, but it worth the search. Cosy upstairs, crowded downstairs. Many tables already reserved made when I was there, so be sure in case of a real sit date, but not for a beer in the bar.

  The beer is very good and there are a lot of types to taste. I would like to taste them all but it works be a little bit expensive to do that. My suggestion is to offer small glasses of 1 euro each. So a 5 taste selection would cost five euros allowing the clients to discover between 5 beers witch one is the best for them.
