The owner and his partner really nice and helpful but the thin grey haired chap on reception/bar is a nightmare! He is the exact opposite and yells at people! I don't know why he works there as he never smiled just played Solitaire (card game) On reception computer. This was our 4th visit but we won't be going back if he is there!

Rustic rural setting with no frills. Mobile home had all we needed. Good shower and ample sized bathroom and always hot water. Comfy bed and good sheets ( and towels which we asked for). China and glasses could have been better. Only one pool when we were there in beginning of September but as it was quiet it was fine. Great free bus into and back from town and to the Colombo railway station to Rome. Rome train ticket €1.50 for 90 minutes travel so got us onto metro to our next place. Beach mostly used for restaurants sport huts etc. but small dark sandy beach across the road. Man at reception could have been friendlier but girls helpful. A good time for a rest, book and pool.

So we chose this camping to stay to visit Rome, relying on the good reviews. We got here and the staff was really friendly and helpful until the moment we didn't want to give our passports to them as a guarantee. There is a page in a Dutch passport that tells the document belongs to the Kingdom of The Netherlands and is not allowed in the possession of thirds without a statutory obligation to do so. So I showed them and she said ''yeah I know, I know'' and we could keep them. From that moment on, the staff was less friendly than in the beginning and they talked about us behind our backs. Just because they wanted our passports so bad.
Camping is close to the beach, nice and clean. The two pools on the camping are just pools you can buy at home (Lidl) and not very clean. Sanitary is primitive and is cleaned just by hose. No warm water in the evening.
Pizza's on the camping are real good and the staff in the campingshop is really nice!
It's a pity you cannot checkout a day before you want to leave.
So in the end a normal, not special camping for a short, quiet stay.

Not recommended. Noisy due to the very busy road. The beach was dirty, covered in graffiti, and the walkways were falling apart, collapsing, treacherous in places. The beach showers were really bad, balance on a brick so as not step in the black puddle below. The site pool smelled of wee and was small and dirty. Recent burglaries meant that you couldn't leave any valuables in your tent/caravan/motorhome. Where else do you leave them? Genuinely felt unsafe. The staff were friendly, the toilets/showers were clean. But the pro's didn't make up for the cons.

A good beach campsite ideal for Rome. Staff friendly, amenities well kept, easy access to beach. Good shop and restaurant. You'll hear bars and parties on beach at night and tiny harmless ants are exceptionally persistent. Buy food on daily basis from camp shop to avoid any bother, (and/or go to parties at night) and you'll have excellent time.

Quite nice place, some areas under really nice trees. Everything is ok, has also a small shop and a restaurant. You can reach Rome by public transport. Beach is so and so. Price is pretty ok.

Perfect Camping. Near the the Mediterranean and Rome at the same time. Transport with bus and train works perfect. The camping also has everything, bar, restaurant, shop, pool, wifi and very good service and help in the reception.

We lived here for a week in 6 bungallows type C. On the 4th day, burglars broke into out houses and they stole hundreds of euros and almost all of the electronic devices which were left in the houses. They could easily open the windows from outside of the bungallows. By the way, we were not satisfied with the quality of the accomodation.
