This is a place not to be overlooked as it often has free exhibitions. Like the recent one about Ettore Scola, one of Italys most important film directors (una giornata particulare).

It is a small gallery, with about 20 paintings mostly by de Chirico. However, three of those are real important masterpieces, well worth seeing. And entry is free.

A villa Borghese non c'è solo il museo Borghese, uno dei gioielli romani, ma anche il piccolo ed elegante museo Carlo Bilotti. La mostra permanente comprende 18 opere tra quadri e sculture (per me una novità) di Giorgio de Chirico, un'opera di un altro grande maestro come Severini ed un'opera di Andy Wharol, famoso certo ma che accanto a De Chirico non c'azzecca niente. Ci sono altre due mostre temporanee comunque interessanti da conoscere.

Museo piccolo che contiene la collezione privata della Famiglia Bilotti. Si possono ammirare dei quadri di De Chirico al II piano. Molto bella la porta con mosaici al primo.

A so-so permanent collection, but varied and interesting temporary ones when we were there. Admission is free, so it's worth dropping in to see what they have.
