I liked the art here a lot more than at Palazzo Barberini.

Lots of great paintings but lighting is poor - spotlights shine so much you have to stand at a distance to see the paintings. Came here for the Caravaggio but it’s on loan at an exhibition in Milan. No mention on way in apart from tiny notice which is easy to miss. Not very helpful staff - unlike every other place we’ve been to. Left feeling disappointed.

Tickets unable to buy by card. Cash only. But if you want to but anything from the shop, then a card is welcome. Very unhelpful staff. Cashier didn't bother to get off her phone to inform me and with the front door locked I ended up standing there and waiting for a reaction. They didn't offer any solution and I had to ask to open the door!

Rude staff. She did not explain that Barberini was quite far away from Corsini and did not inform me it would take the second visit of my Roma Pass, which was not convenient. The collection is not well curated, rooms crowded with paintings that can't be appreciated, not interpreting keys that can be easily understood. The worse was that 4 of the major masterpieces were not even there, but lent to other exhibitions, which makes the visit frustrating. Skip this, but make sure you keep your money to visit the amazing Farnessina just in the building across the street. That is really worthwhile.

One half of the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Antica ( National Gallery of Antique Art) in Rome (the other being Palazzo Barberini; the ticket you get at either place is good for both). Great art collection that would have deserved 5 stars in most other cities, unfortunately, however, it's not as good as the Palazzo Barberini collection.

很像巴贝里尼宫，科西尼宫里面的游客不多，但世界级艺术品很多。这间博物馆非常特别，适合那些喜欢安静地欣赏文艺复兴时期最好艺术品的人们没有人潮拥挤打扰你参观。

Really spectacular art in a location with really interesting history. The building was actually the Roman Court of queen Cristina of Sweden. Totally worth a visit, kids under 18 are free. While the information given about the art is scarce, it is more though the many other gallery's

La Galleria merita la visita, sia per gli ambienti che per l'edificio, anche residenza della regina Cristina di Svezia.
Se non fosse per l'allestimento con delle guide plastificate per ogni stanza vecchie, sporche, e rovinate, e la ragazza bionda alla biglietteria che masticando la gomma prima deve finire la chiacchierata su WhatsApp e poi ti caga, sarebbe un posto piacevolissimo.
Un piccolo sforzo verso il visitatore sarebbe sempre gradito.
Ah, non ti caga neanche quando uscendo le passi davanti.response / report this review
