Best part of the hotel are the room with private terrace/balcony and their stunning view over Positano. Beautiful view on the sea. Breakfast is good but nothing special. Helpful staff. Hotel offers car parkig at an extra cost (EUR 20.- per day which for Positano is a fair price). The hotel is located in the upper part of Positano approx. 15min to walk down to the beach.

Lovely hotel and rooms with amazing views , great staff very friendly nice breakfasts with amazing outlook .We had a lovely week brilliant family holiday would return .

View from our room was beautiful and the room was clean but was not impressed with the breakfast at all as I had advised the hotel before hand that i am gluten and lactose intolerant, there was practically nothing for me to have, parking is not very visible as we drove past it and then had drive all the way back which was a pain.

It's just okay all around. There are so many other places I'd rather stay. The location is okay and off a street so you can be driven to the front door. The balconies are NOT private. You can hear every murmur of other guests anywhere in the hotel (exaggeration but you get the point). The views are nice but not facing the main Positano beach so you don't get the grandeur view from your balcony. You do have beach views but again it's not facing the main part of Positano. Wifi is spotty and not reliable. The fact that they offered breakfast was nice and the breakfast room is beautiful as well as the wine and snacks they offer for purchase. Staff were friendly but not knowledgeable in assisting with booking excursions or transfers other than a small display table of pamphlets. Room decor was plain, small and not well thought out though clean. So basically, it's not horrible but stay somewhere else if you can.

We had an excellent time here. Beautiful view and great location with small parking space attached to it. If you've ever been to Amalfi coast you will know how hard (impossible) it is to find good parking space so even at the rate (i believe €15 per day) a good deal. Breakfast is poor, lunch even more and no diner but there is enough to do and as always in Italy, you will find enough places to eat. Rooms are very (!) basic but our terrace made up for all bad things. Airco works great but the little fridge was broken while it was 38+ degrees It's a family who runs it and you can sense not everyone is evenly happy about the 'business' so don't expect the warm welcome some Italians can give you. Overall they do their job so i think it's enough but still it could be more to make you feel welcome. Conclusion: one of the best places to start your Amalfi holiday geographically. Rooms poor but clean and great terraces. A little above fair rates. I would give 5 star if the people were more 'nice' and the breakfast had some more variety and you actually pay with normal bankcard instead of cash only or creditcard.

I was kept waiting at reception by the receptionist who chatted with a local for ten minutes then had a rave a me for interrupting her so totally rude and out of order when I was enquiring about a room! Do not stop in this hotel. So rude.hate tourists.

I have stayed here twice now, most recently in April 2012. For the price, this place is excellent. The room is small and cute. Both times I had a room with a large terrace and great views. They have parking which is needed if you have a car. They speak English and are very nice and helpful. I would absolutely stay here every time I visit Positano!
