Very good hotel. Staff is very kind and professional. Good location. Recommended!
We spent one week there. What is good: convenient location for sightseeing city tours (right near all main historic sites);
decent interior;
excellent breakfast;
polite and attentive personnel;
good views from the terrace on the 4th floor (observing the rising sun over the city with a cup of coffee).
What would be good to improve:
add free water bottles in the room;
add hair conditioner in the bathroom (there was any);
provide more piece of soup for guests (we had two pieces of soup from the first till the last day).
5 stars and a big heart 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟❤️
We stayed at the Capo d’Africa for a weekend in November. I had made a mistake while booking the hotel but it was no problem. Julia at the reception desk solved it wonderfully. The room was wonderful spacious, the bed big and comfortable with a variety of cushions - one for every taste. The breakfast was delicious and also offered a good quality. But the most remarkable of the Hotel is the staff. Everyone is dedicated to helping the guests in the most friendly and pleasant way. After checking out we had left our luggage at the hotel to go on a last tour. Unfortunately we were surprised by heavy rains and a thunderstorm. We came back socking wet. Again Julia and Katja helped. We had a wonderful, wonderful stay! Thank you all!!!
Awesome staff, very helpful and supportive of tourists unfamiliar with the country and City. Rooms are spacious and clean. Best of all the hotel is located right near the Colosseum with plenty of good food and drink in walking distance.
Contemporary hotel at the edge of the ancient city. Sits on a quiet side street within comfortable walking distance to the Colloseum. Excellent service, amazing rooftop space, and extremely good restaurant. Highly recommend a stay with these folks.
First night, but staff has been very friendly. Room was ready when we arrived at noon, despite 2pm check on time. Included breakfast runs from 0630 to 1100, which is a nice span of time. Will review again by the end of the week, but a good start.
Nice location, really close to the coliseum and the Roman forum (5min. walk) with a lot of good places to eat nearby. There is a nice terrace with a view to the coliseum where one cold have dinner or just a drink, the breakfast is also served there. All in all great place.
Everything was great until the day of the checkout.different receptionist from the days before and he was very rude and almost yelling. Leaving the car keys on the counter and leaving before I even walked to him. Not to mention no one to help carry the luggage to the car through the steps. No elevator for that.
Very good place 3-4 minutes walking to colosseum
We are currently on our second day of a 5-day stay here. Not our first time in Rome but first time staying at this hotel. And I don't see us staying anywhere else for all future trips to Rome.
The location can't be any better. Couple of blocks from the colosseum on a quiet street.
The room is nice and of good size for the location. The lobby is nice. But the rooftop (terrace) is great. In short, this place is as good as any boutique hotels in New York.
Victoria at the bar, the staff at the restaurant and the front desk personnel are superb and make my boys, 7 and 11 on spring break, feel at home. There are good restaurants aroundask Victoria and the front desk staff for recommendations and they are kind enough to help making the reservation.
I hope you will enjoy your stay at this place as much as we dobut preferably not during any of our future staysas we'd like to keep this place to ourselvesif possible.
