A little bit far from the main attractions in the city, but there is good transportation (as good as it can get in rome anyway). The lobby is very nice and welcoming and so is the staff. The room are pretty basic but spacious and clean. Breakfast is simple and to the point.

We arrived for one night of a 16 day trip.
Upon checking in the lobby was hot as HELL.
We went up to our room on the 6th floor and it was hotter than HELL.
Went to the desk to see about A.C. and was informed that the entire property A.C. was not working.
This was the worst night I've ever spent in a hotel
Oh and the shower drain did not work and created a indoor pool in the bathroom.
Very disappointed!

We entered the hotel and encountered unfriendly staff at the reception. Check in was easy and fast but the receptionist was not friendly and not helpful, it seemed as if he was forced to be there and he didn't like his job. We had a room on the 5th floor, which didn't meet the standards of a 4 Star hotel at all. There were yellow stains on the toilet seat, hair in the shower, the bathroom door did not seem very firm. What is more at one spot the ceiling seemed to come off. On the first night we took 2 glasses of wine with us on our room, the glasses were still standing on the exact same position 2 days after, the cleaning staff just didn't see it neccessary to take them away. The floor was not very clean either. We could hear our neighbours talking and using their bathroom.
Breakfast was okay but did not meet a 4 Star standard either. Waiting staff was nice and friendly, especially the lady.
We wouldn't come back to this Hotel, maybe it was just us because we are younger than the other guests and so we have not been treated the same way (especially reception). However this hotel does not meet the standards of a 4 Star Hotel.
The location is very good, you can find some very good and tipical restaurants just around the corner, "Casa Mia" was very nice.

It's a very good deal in terms of want you get for your money. It's a bit noisy during the night, our room was a non smoking room however we could smell people smoking in other rooms. The room had a particular smell. The hotel is located at a 40 minute walk to the coliseum and a 1 hour walk to the Vatican. There is a good offer of restaurants around the hotel, the staff is helpful and friendly.

Beautiful hotel, big rooms, 'traditional' decor. Staff were lovely, really helpful. The ONLY downside is the location. It is outside the City Wall which makes it a fair 20-30min walk into Rome or an expensive cab ride.
