The coffee and Pastries are great. Staff isnt what Americans would find as friendly. They only take CASH, but we're kind enough to give me my coffee and pastry for free when I only had card and the money exchangers we're not open yet and I had to catch a plane.

One of the real cafes to be found the heart of Rome. The coffee is fantastic and the atmosphere, as you move from the register to the bar to the clean up line, is incredibily energetic. You truly feel transported back in time here.

Just, for those new to Rome and the Italian coffee culture, make sure to stand inside at the bar and drink your coffee. Otherwise, you risk paying triple the price or more to be served at the tables outside.

The coffee was decent, and also it's a rather famous place. However that fame is causing problem as we could barely fit in the small shop to buy coffee. There are two ways to order: With service and sitting outside or drinking in the shop without service fee, by first paying and getting a ticket. We purchased four coffees and two sweets in total, around 20 euros I think. I thought because I didn't get sercive we could sit outside, but no, service cost includes the cost of sitting down, which is just ripping off tourists. They said if I paid 10 more euros we could sit down, which is ridiculous considering the items we bought. They couldn't speak english, and there were no signs indicating which coffee was hot and which was cold. Who sells ice coffee in november anyway?

Not the best coffee They didn’t let me seat outside if I ordered inside, because the coffee is more expensive if you order seated. Basically they kick me out of my chair because of that and the coffee is not that good. Go to Tazza D’Oro they have better coffee, service and price.

A lot of people say the coffee here is great but I beg to differ. I prefer the service and atmosphere at Tazza d'oro as well as the coffee. Some of the snacks are good and this place works in a pinch if you need a cuppa. But make the walk over to the pantheon for tazza, you won't be disappointed. Oh also it's not in the location mentioned in the map, you have to walk around the square and it's close to the church.

Quality is Good. Bar service is fine. However, if you buy something and sit down, they have an additional table charge of 2.5 euro. The wait staff is not that polite about this. Recommend avoid

This place is known for their Cappuccino. You will most likely find it full of tourists and local enthusiasts. I find older Italian men sitting outside on the tables to enjoy their coffee. It is good to know that when you sit on their tables there are extra charges because a server will come and take your order.

If you want to just stand and drink your coffee, your order and pay first before taking the receipt to the baristas that will make your drink. You can stand at their coffee bar to enjoy their amazing Cappuccino.

I was never a Cappuccino fan in the US, but their famous Cappuccino was amazing. Perfect in every way. I regret not having tried their other drinks that sounded amazing.

We were told this place offers the best coffee in Rome (a huge statement right?) and it definitely delivered. We all got cappuccinos and went back the next day for more coffee and to get beans from them. They offer a small selection of pastries too and I'd recommend gettinf your cappuccino sweetened)(with powdered sugar).

Beautiful little coffee shop. Full stainless steel bar with modest selection of fresh pastries, although coffee is the main attraction here. They also have some vintage whole bean grinders and stove top espresso makers. You'll find 100% Arabic beans to go. I would recommend for a quick espresso. No table service only bar.
