One of my favorite Hilton stays ever. The property is beautiful. The staff is excellent. Pool is gorgeous!! Breakfast room has beautiful views also! Our room was standard, that is what we booked. But who cares, No one will be in their room anyway. I had access to the executive lounge, so if there is an option to buy with room, BUY IT! Great snacks and wine, but the view makes it worth it. I loved everything about this place. Close to town. We walked up and down. Definitely up a hill, so that might be suitable for some.

Fantastic Hotel, great location, comfortable and clean. Service was very good. Pool and facilities excellent.
If you want something more authentic Italian, then look elsewhere. This is higher end American style hotel.
Its a great base if you like to retreat to such a place after soaking up the local Italian culture.response / report this review -

We love this hotel! We were here in June 2022 and I am just getting around to writing this review. We stay here every time we go to Sorrento - in fact, we return Oct 30 to celebrate our 41 anniversary. The terrace bar is just beautiful - music, great service, wonderful cocktails, and a spectacular view of Mt Vesuvius. The rooms are typical Hilton rooms which means very comfy bed; soundproof; clean; and roomy. Service has always been fantastic here, from the front desk to wait staff to bartenders and housekeeping. The pool area is just the best. Nothing better than lounging poolside, having drinks served, and then lunching at the poolside bistro.

Ambience is beautiful. Picturesque views. Nice food at dinner time and nice live music. Engaged staff. Not too far to walk down to the city centre using the short cut.
On arrival the room was very cold and dusty with a stale smell of goodness knows what. I couldn’t control the temperature of the room and had to ask reception to regulate the temperature. Even though they sent a small heater it stayed cold.
The outdoor pool is not heated and the indoor pool was closed.
There were spider webs at the door leading to the large balcony that had a beautiful view.
We booked a garden view room. What we were not told was that there are decidedly older rooms that haven’t been refurbished and newer rooms that have. There’s quite a contrast. If you plan to book in this category be sure to ask beforehand, otherwise you may be disappointed. I did ask to change rooms from the older room that was allocated to us, but was shown a smaller alternatives and another that had an unlovely view.
The third alternative was on the lower ground level facing a concrete wall of some sort. Actually was a depressing view. Not sure why anyone would choose to stay there even though it was meant to be an ‘upgrade’🤔🤔🤔
I felt the staff could have been more generous with the alternatives, rather than treating my request to move as a total inconvenience. Their approach lacked patience and a genuine lacked a desire on the part of the staff to please the customer.
I guess on so many levels Dubai (where I live) does it (much!!) better with professional staff and high levels of service.
Additionally, they refused a refund on a second booking that was made due to the guest not being able to make it to Sorrento.

I’m a loyal Hilton member and this hotel made a great base point for us in Sorrento to explore the area and make an easy day trip to local island of Capri. This is definitely one of the larger hotels in the area so it definitely has the traditional conference / corporate /convention vibe. Who wouldn’t want to travel to Sorrento for a conference? That being said it still provides a great place to sleep and base from on vacation as well. The breakfast was a pretty standard buffet that was good. The views overlooking the sea and surrounding area was astounding to see every morning and evening. The food for dinner at the hotel was less than desirable though, and personally would recommend exploring one of the local restaurants in town that is an easy walk downhill. The rooms were huge but lacked updated features but still were sufficient. The grounds were great for walks and activities with a very nice pool, playground, tennis court, soccer/futbol, paddle ball courts
