View is great. It's a historical place but the rooms are spartan. Shower is like a vertical coffin, it's so small. No amenities either.

This hotel is wonderful! You feel like you are back in renaissance time. The bathrooms are modern and rooms are full of comfort. I loved the pool that looks like roman baths. So cool! And of course, the view. It is breathtaking from every point of the hotel. I will definitely stay again in this hotel.Very good Breakfast. :)

Breathtaking view from the room, I really have never seen anything like it from a hotel room.
However, the hotel felt too big and empty, perhaps it is located too far from the rest of Frascati (20 minutes walk uphill), perhaps it was out of season.
The set menu in the restaurant was OK but nothing special. Breakfast was mediocre - bread was dry.

The Hotel is there to accommodate for events like wedding receptions, rather than to accommodate guests. It is not very child friendly either. We booked this Villa, thinking we would relax here as a family for a couple of days, and we ended up disappointed. The outdoor pool was usually inaccessible, as outside events were being held next to it, so hotel guests were not allowed to use it. The few hours we tried to use it it was extremely cold.

If the resort advertises it has an indoor pool, it is also false advertising. The pool is part of a Spa facility which is independently run from the villa, so access is not complementary and one must pay day rates to be able to access the indoor pool. Also, there are no hours at all which allow children to access the Spa, which pretty much ruined our family trip, as we love spending time in the pool together.

The room provided to us was also very small - there was no space where we could move with the baby travel cot which the villa provided, though the view from the room was exceptional.

I believe that if you want to organise an event to show-off, this place would be the right place, as it has great views of Rome, but as for accommodation, I am sure one can find by far much better places, were to stay.

Good hotel in a very nice place. I was here in a professional event so I am not sure about its suitability for other goals. The hotel is what you would expect for 4 stars: in general very good in aspect and services, but not flawless at all. For example, our shower is too low to have a comfortable shower and there were some cracks on the wall. Nothing important but minor details.

Went to Villa Tuscolana for a wedding. The grounds and the views are amazing. The staff is very friendly. My only complaint would be that some small sections of the hotel could use a little updating or finish work. We had a GREAT time!
