Excellent hotel in quiet location. Exceptionally clean. Room perfect for person with mobility issues. Fresh linens every day. Superb breakfasts. Staff very friendly and helpful. This hotel is highly recommended.
Located in a laneway, away from the main street making it a difficult location to get to. Most 3 star hotels have lifts, however this one doesn't so we had to climb the steep stained and scuffed stairs with 5 pieces of luggage. Once you get inside you're cramped and uncomfortable room, you have to start unpacking, which is nearly impossible.
The room seemed to have more mirrors than actually space, tricking you're mind into thinking that the room is bigger than it actually is.
Going out for dinner, you ask for recommendations, which were good and the staff were friendly.
After a pleasant dinner, time to wash and go to bed. Shower head was mouldy. The bathroom was very small and cramped. Bin was full and room was not as clean as I would imagine for a 3 star hotel. As a part of a family of 4 with a child under 10, an inappropriate picture of a partially naked woman on the wall was not appreciated.
The room we were staying in had one proper bed and a pull out couch, both which were very uncomfortable and the pillows almost didn't exist. We had to ask for additional pillows.
Breakfast was part of the stay, however was very limited and small.
The pull out couch broke and we were moved to another room, which was much better, and I do wonder why we didn't get that room in the first place.
If you could improve everything I have mentioned I might consider another stay, as for now, definitely not a good idea, even for an over night stay.

Last week we were very pleased staying here with my wife. Comfortable, renovated room and friendly staff! The location is perfect from our point of view – in Castelo district, a fairly quiet place, outside from the crowded streets and not so far from the popular monuments – 10 minutes by walk from St. Mark’s Square, next to local park, just on a few minutes away from a vaporetto station, where you have a fast connection to all the islands in the lagoon, as well as other parts of Venice. Near the hotel there are several nice restaurants, as well as a large supermarket. I definitely recommend!
Friendly staff, pleasant clean rooms and decent breakfast. Being in Castello it is away from the main tourist zone, but still has nearby restaurants. However it is only six minutes from the Arsenale stop, and fifteen from Piazza San Marco, so you can have some peace and quiet, but still see the sights.
Great hotel but be warned the air con isn't on all year round so even when it's schorcio outside it's also schorcio inside. But then I learnt how to work the blinds. Great location to base yourself from to explore Venice. Just be prepared to open your bedroom door into the breakfast dining area.

Great place to stay in Venice, it's a little out of the way from the train station but is very close to St Mark's square and other places of interest.
