I fully agree with Sasha Joseph and Cameron Burke's reviews. Very average food and the waiter's charm seemed thoroughly disingenuous.
He was quick to reference his grandmother in the kitchen, which would have been harmless, but he became very unpleasant when I expressed disappointment with my meal.

A great restaurant in a large square. We sat outside and ordered great (not mind blowing) pasta and lasagne with free bread to begin with and shots at the end.
There's a great atmosphere if you sit outside and the burners keep you warm in the winter. The waiter was helpful in recommending wines and dishes.
There's lots of great wine bars and ice cream parlours around for desert.
Recommended for a good dinner for two.

Some good, some bad. Plusses: service and food. The waiter was charming and funny, the food was delicious. Minuses: slow we waited 15 minutes before we could order then 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Even adjusting your expectations for European service this seemed slow. Since this restaurant is in a tourist centric area, expect to pay a little more, and also a service charge.

Excellent place for a meal. This is the only place in the square where no one stands outside to solicit you, a sign of quiet confidence in their food and service. The guys in this place are warm, friendly and welcoming and the food is excellent. I heartily recommend it if you are visiting Piazza Navona. We ate another lunch at a different Pizzeria in the square.my vote definitely goes to Bernini Ristorante.

Terrific Service, Great Food, and Reasonable Prices! One reads so much about avoiding "touristy" areas for restaurants. This was my third time in Rome, and wanted to show my husband Piazza Navona. How do you not eat dinner at such a wonderful place? So, we gave it a shot. As one does, we browsed the menus of many restaurants in the piazza, becoming annoyed with staff at each restaurant trying to win us over to eat at their place. So we would move on. What I loved about Bernini Ristorante was no one was soliciting (begging) us to dine there. It is in the north side of the piazza so away from the noise and more secluded, yet with the amazing view. The staff are secure and comfortable with what they have to offer is good quality. No need to beg. Tony, who I believe is the owner, or manager, was a true charmer and gentleman. He is there every day! He speaks multiple languages well, so his communication with patrons was terrific. He has terrific recommendations from wine, to dessert and everything in between. He and his staff are accommodating, fun and professional. You feel you really become part of their family by the time dinner is over. The quality of the food is wonderful and prices are great. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I rarely write reviews. We will certainly return. Bernini Ristorante is truly a gem hidden in plain sight.

This restaurant is absolutely spectacular. The fact that you can get good quality, affordable food right on Piazza Navona is astounding and very rare. The location cannot be beat, if you sit outside. The food was incredible, especially the Alfredo ravioli (I forget the exact name). And to top it off, the service was stellar. Our waiter was very funny, and it was such a pleasure to be served by him. And again, it's affordable! My most highly recommended restaurant in Rome. We came here twice!

Lovely food! The meatballs were absolutely delicious, I wish I had two servings! My starter was a gorgeous beef dish. Our waiter was lovely. We also got an accompaniment of bread with a courgette & veg mix which was amazing. Highly recommend!

I have no idea why everybody is leaving such amazing reviews for this place. The service was fantastic (which is why I left two stars instead of one) but the food is very mediocre and touristy. The waiter said his grandma was the chef, but when I looked in the kitchen I only saw a big burly man and not the sweet little old lady he'd like you to believe. They gave us "free" limoncello at the end of the meal, which I assume they give to everybody, so it's technically included in the price of the meal. The service was so good that I feel bad for leaving a negative review, but I feel like people should understand that they shouldn't waste their money/time on such mediocre food when Rome has so many great restaurants out there. I highly regret going here as my last meal in Italy, and did so based on these positive reviews. Don't go here if you really care about food.

With so many options to eat in the Piazza, this is the place. Food, wine and service were amazing. A real deal Italian family restaurant. Grandma is the chef and does not disappoint. Thanks for such a perfect night.

Enjoyed the food and service immensely. The server was quite personable and spoke at least 4 languages to various guests. The Mrs had the seafood linguini. I had the spinach ravioli in a tomato sauce with buffola cheese. Both dishes were excellent. This is a family owned restaurant that doesn't have people standing in the street asking you to come in. Warm and friendly without being pushy.
