Excellent food. Very good service & wine selection in a beautiful restaurant. Well worth checking for The Fork promotions.

An overrated place especially in Rome where the choice and competition is overwhelming. At best an average restaurant in interesting surroundings with nothing else special. In other words not really worth the ride from Rome in traffic where you find so many superior restaurants. Maybe it can be recommended for groups.

Pasta al gricia was decently tasty but strayed way too far from the original recipe into fat-land. The cut of steak I ordered was not the one I got (it seems to be a trend in Rome) and as always burnt till unchewable. Also not a single piece of side dish to that >30€ steak, had to order a tiny plate of 7€ bland potatoes because apparently you can't ask for a bit of cherry tomatoes and olives that are featured as sides to other dishes

Very pleasant environment with live piano, beautiful decoration and caring staff. I didn't find the food that much amazing though - except for the tiramisu, which was really divine!

I would highly recommended this restaurant. I have been there for my wedding venue. The food and the service was excellent and absolutely professional in all points of view. The antipasto buffet was absolutely gorgeous. The meal was presented and served amazingly. All the dishes were tasty and delicious and the staff were nice and friendly.

We went there for the conference dinner and I ordered the vegetarian option. It was ignored in the beginning and when I asked for vegetarian they took my plate (with the meat and everything) went to the kitchen, got rid of the meat and brought it back. There was even part of the meat still stuck on a potato.
Also the vegetables were cold and everything was rather average. But this vegetarian vs meat obstacle made everything worse.
For me that is a sign that they don't care about their customers.response / report this review -

Well, there was a fire in the fireplace, the waiters were (for Rome standards) friendly and attentive.
However, the whle place appears to be arranged for large family feasts or bus traveler groups. Not really cosy. An assortment of large rooms, some of them a bit "camp-ground" style with many tables in there, each room large enough to hold 50-100 guests.
And part of it smells like toilet stones and mold. I figured out that the smell increases on the way to the toilets. That was annoying, but only present in one of the many rooms they have.
The wine selection and the quality of the wines we had was fantastic however.
The risotto was perfect, the pasta on-spot. Nothing to complain. The food is traditional, not
fancy at all, but excellent.
They need to do something with the smell, thats all.response / report this review -
