Fantastic location, staff, and accomodation. We were 3 girls traveling through Italy and this was the perfect spot for Capri. The staff is like family. Free breakfast was wonderful. We had to leave early for our ferry and the staff set up a special complimentary breakfast 2 hours earlier than normal so we could eat before we go. The pool, rooms, locationwonderful.

Hôtel calme, très bien tenu. A l'écart du centre, et sur le chemin de très belles promenades à l'est de l'île (villa Lysis et villa Jovis).

Nice hotel, fairly standard room fixtures, we had a room with three single beds which was nice.
The hotel felt quite short on staff, with one lady doing the cleaning, breakfast service, bar work and clearing up all at the same time, so sometimes hard to find someone to serve you.
The sunbeds were comfy and the pool very refreshing and a good design. We stayed for breakfast and this wasn't the standard I was really expecting from a hotel of this cost. Mainly pastries, juice and toast, with some fruit salads (these contain nuts!)
Check in and out was easy enough, although if you're carrying heavy suitcases this is a reasonable walk uphill from the Palazzo Umberto II, so consider a luggage hire system if you're not comfortable walking.
Capri generally very expensive so budget accordingly.response / report this review -

great price you can find. A small and quiet hotel, the staff are very welcoming. Just 10 minutes walk from the bus station.

The hotel is decent. If you're looking for something on Capri that is relatively inexpensive, and Villa Sarah is your only option, it will do. It's certainly not perfection. The bathrooms are tiny, the beds are hard, and the "bar" is incredibly expensive - we ended up just buying food at the super market down the road. Most importantly, there is a HUGE hill that you have to walk every time you want to go into the center of Capri - this can be exhausting. Also, finding the hotel is a trip in and of itself - make sure you contact the hotel before hand to arrange porters to help you get there. We took a taxi then wandered around trying to figure out where it was located - not fun, especially in 90 degree heat.
